...? Not sure where you are getting your info from, but only Micah Johnson and Cameron Wake went undrafted. And you used Cameron Wake again as the CFL castoff.

    As for everyone else:
    Koa Misi: 2nd Round
    Ikaika Alama-Francis: 2nd Round
    Quentin Moses: 3rd Round
Karlos Dansby: 2nd Round (first pick)
    Tim Dobbins: 5th Round
    Channing Crowder: 3rd Round

Like Bill Shakespeare once said, "This is much ado about nothing."

Too many fans becoming moaners and crybabies...."Vontae is limping, Jake didn't practice today, our 5th or 6th LB got traded for a guy who is about the same,"

    Wanhhhhhhhhhhh......SO WHAT???

Wake has done what so in this league so far? I do like Wake to be pretty good this year but he cannot do this by himself and he is playing mostly on the strongside. You tend to want your pass rush specialist to come from the weakside (Qb's blind side) and that side is totally unproven on this team.

Although I have not watched that video, I'm fairly confident that most of the time, Wake is providing a nice push, and then when he is closing in, the Qb gets rid of it before it's a sack, or he can make a simple move to buy time. That's because the Qb can see him if he is right handed.

Another the thing about last year, is there was someone on the other side closing in just as fast so the Qb had to think really fast and the only way he would dare roll out was away from the weakside.

Cam Wake must continue to work on an inside move. He actually DID use one in the last game, and I was THRILLED.

Despite his early production last year, as the season went on it became easy for Tackles to push him to the ground. once you see Wake's tape it is obvious that he rushes WAY deep off the edge and LOW, like with his body almost HORIZONTAL to the ground.

Almost every Tackle who faced him late in the season did the same thing I said they'd do once there was film on Wake: Push DOWN on him so he falls face first in the dirt. They just lean over and push him down and he's out of the play.

He is just starting to adjust to this by realizing he needs an inside counter move so Tackles can't commit so heavily to this tactic on his deep outside rush. He has to victimize them for that DEEP slidestep set-up they take off the snap.

He also needs to occasionally surprise them by bullrushing them.

Best thing he could formulate is an inside club move. Don't think his upper body is strong enough though.

Problem with Wake is, he wins his battles almost entirely with leg explosion/accelration... not with upper body strength/hand leverage.

Until he adds the second part, tackles will be able to contain him for stretches. He'll still get sacks, but if he could get his UPPER BODY working for him too, he'd be UNSTOPPABLE.

Nah, keep Wake on the Right Side...so he can look the Qb dead in the eyes before he takes them out..right square in the eyes.

En Quattrocchi...eye to eye..that is how a Predator handles their bidness.

I really think his best move is only from the right side but that is also where you'd want your best run stuffer. I liked what I saw from him stopping the run, and or staying with his run lane during preseason so hopefully he can continue but you almost always want your best pass rusher coming from the Qb's blind side. It causes a lot more fumbles that way ala JT for years.
