Jake wouldn't have been in if our offense would have just performed better in the 3rd preseason game, or even in the first drive of the 4th game. Don't blame sparano, blame the rest of our offense.

The Sun-Sentinel's Omar Kelly expects Dolphins LT Jake Long (knee) to practice by Thursday and play in the regular season opener. It's not clear if Kelly is saying this based on something he has heard or if it's just a "gut feeling" type prediction. We do expect Long to suit up for Week 1, but check back for updates on his condition.
