Good thing is he'll have to clear 28 other teams before that happens.

He'll have to clear waivers first and I reckon he won't get to the Jets waiver pick...

I'm a little surprised considering Garner being done but Jerry is better than anyone would have thought initially.
Not surprised with DT's play. The guy is lazy and slow.
I think the term heavy applies.

O.T. I enjoyed your interview on the radio show last night Padre. Except for the premature Nolan on the hot seat but good stuff bro!

there's be at least three guys we add to the 53 in the next week or so that weren't with the team judging by these cuts.

Hmm, imho Baker takes his place as he just has shown more in limited action.

Erik Walden being cut was also a mild surprise.

I'd say only Thomas qualifies as a surprise so far.

12 left.. wonder if Will Allen gets placed on PUP as well, which would make it 11.

No but the longer into the day we go, the more comfortable I'd be. Dolphins holding off for last minute trade for him or Thiggy?

I doubt it, they will roster him as inactive until healthy.

Which sort of muddies up the roster to practice squad mix but that just is how the NFL does things..no temp IR..just rostered or year long PUP/IR.

    Andrew Gardner waived as well.

No he isn't. WAllen took training camp snaps and is therefore not eligible for the PUP.

    http://www.examiner.com/houston-tex...-on-the-physically-unable-to-perform-pup-list

WAllen was never on the Active PUP, nor was he ever eligible for it since he participated in camp.

    White is quiicckkk...

Sooner or later there will be a run on Db's being waived as so far the Front 7 and Wr's have been more or less been the focus of the cuts.

Maybe 3 weeks ago Barry Jackson's column singled out Dotson and McDaniel as players the Coaches liked.
