I drove 40 minutes up to Davie, FL to see the Training Camp this evening. The weather looked ugly and dark the whole time. We got there an hour before and there would be a light sprinkle on and off but nothing big. At exactly 8 PM EST when every player was out in the field, it started POURING and they called off the outdoor practice. At least I got to see them practice on Sat evening but it really did suck to have to drive back 40 minutes down south and completely soaked.
There had to be some silver lining in this story. Like did anything funny or interesting happen on the way back? Think hard...
Quit ya *****in', I drove 2 hrs. hahah still had a great time. Met bunch of people, everybody went to the bar. Got to hang out with Omar, Manny (bandit) Marky Mark, addicts...good group of guys.
I drove a whopping 3 minutes, only to have to turn around(after calling the fins tc hotline and finding out it was closed to the public). Luckily for me, I live about 5 minutes away from the training facility.
I've been there before yousamook... lol Cant count the times I've had a practice moved inside the damn bubble on me after driving 45min to see it... lol I hate that damn bubble, lol...
