Padre, you're probably the only person on the planet who actually liked Dolphins Tonight.

I thought it was the biggest waste of radio space in South Florida, besides perhaps Panthers games. (Though the play by play guy for Panthers games does one hell of a job.)

 

I had 1 question answered by Kimbo concerning Ike Francis making the jump to OLB from DT..the same move AJ Duhe made when Kimbo was a phin.

Man, even got my CFL/Scouting question answered by Jeff Ireland himself.

He said they hit it more heavily than any other team in terms of signings.

I figured anything other than "fluff" questions would be a waste of time so I asked if we would be wearing the orange jerseys in the home opener against the Jets?

Good to hear about Chris Clemons seemingly having a lockdown on the FS position so far. Means he mustve improved nicely from year one

 

What I found interesting was Irish refusing to even single out one UDFA who is doing well as he "scouts live in the area and may listen to the broadcast".

 

he did say handful so i figure a couple of our receivers are on that list and we're probably going to try to stash one or two on the practice squad

 

Or that Tyrone Culver, Jonathan Amaya, and Reshad Jones aren't quite the talented competitors we had hoped for.

 

well i didnt see anyway reshad jones was starting this year. ireland seemed to say that he liked where jones was for a rookie so far but it sounded like he has a long ways to go. makes sense since FS isnt really a position you expect a rookie to start. i dont think culver is even getting a chance to compete but i could be wrong. all indications all offseason are that clemons has improved and ireland seemed to echo that.

once again goes to show all those who are quick to write off rookies if they dont light it up that for most rookies it takes more than one offseason to get NFL ready
