Going every day against Marshall might be the best thing that could happen to our young DB's.

 

It's sad how a Head Coach can get in better shape than an NFL player.

 

And going everyday against Long can be the best thing that could happen to Wake.

going against Marshall all day will make these guys better...I love that he is talking sheet already.....you know when guys talk sheet ur like "ehh, he is a wuss" not that way with BM, when he talks smack it is almost intimidating...

 

Where is Crowder's gut??

 

Crowder looks pretty thick to me.. much harder than he normally shows up good for him.

 

Are you serious? This is Channing Crowder we're talking about.

It may be a little hidden behind his knee, but I can see his "tire" showing on either side of it.

Yeah, but what is it with this regime that they try to interchange the FS and SS...they are really two very different positions with very different responsibilities...sure, I know that with both guys skilled at each others positions, it allows more flexibility...but I just don't see much use of it, except that Jones is really more of a SS than a FS, so it should help him become comfortable quicker...???

 

Alot of teams do it, the Jets & Pats included. It gives the DC more flexibility and the opposing OC more to think about. But as you pointed out, you've got to have two guys versatile enough to get the job done, a questionable assertion at this point.

I can't recall Crowder ever having a six pack. That said he doesn't look any worse now than he has in previous years. In fact I want to say he looks a little better than I've seen him in some years.

Last year I felt like Joey Porter arrived a little fat. I think it showed in his play.
