Agree to disagree. Garcon (and Hakeem Nicks, for that matter) are just trendy picks without any basis in how they'll perform this year, IMO.

Barber had more receptions than Felix Jones. In fact, he had the most receptions of any Cowboys RB last year. That's not going to change this year. Remember, we're talking about an RB2 here, not a 1st or 2nd round guy who's guaranteed for 40+ catches.

Could you do better at RB2? Sure, go RB in the 2nd round of your draft and come away with, say, Frank Gore and DeAngelo Williams. The question is whether you can get an RB2 as good as Marion Barber after the first couple of rounds, and the answer is no.

I've already done about 20 mock drafts and I've consistently snagged Barber in the 5th or even 6th round of 12 team mocks. He offers tremendous value at that spot, because his availability means you can stockpile other positions with an eye on drafting him as your RB2, and you'll still do very well for yourself. Here's a mock I did where I snagged Barber at the 5/6 turn. I'd take this team in a real league and feel good about my chances of winning it all.

That's a sweet spread sheet. I'll agree to disagree on Barber. I'd go other directions in the 5th of a PPR.

Gore in Round 2 is insane though. I've seen him go 5th-7th overall consistently.

I like Michael Bush a lot for late rounds. Talent has always been there, if the opportunity is right he can be a quality RB2.

Fred Jackson is def worth monitoring as well.

I can't imagine better RB options in the 5th or 6th round of a PPR than Barber. But agree to disagree, sure.

Gore went in the 1st round, 5th pick in that mock draft I posted.

I'm saying Barber's ADP still isn't worth it there, for me. I'd of rather gone a diff route and addressed another need.

I know but I thought you were still saying in the 2nd, nvm.
