THE VERY NEXT MORNING, Micky/Pat/Dwyane/LeBron/Bosh/Chalmers/Miller/Mcgloire/Reid/Fiorentino/LeBatard and a Sun Sports camera crew drive up to Bill Simmons's house and mercilessly RAM this trophy up his *** on live television.

We might have one less trophy in the case, but there'd be many more to come, and Simmons would never EVER doubt this organization ever again. And they get to keep the rings!

Wonder which end of the trophy would be more painful.

Interesting factoid I heard today:

WJB all supposedly signed for "less to play in Miami"..but that isn't reality:

5yrs/98 million in Miami is equal to:

110 million in NYC
108 million in NJ
103 million in Ohio

Basically the Florida Discount finally, finally, came into play, 5 at 98 million is a Net MAX contract..Amare's 100 million in NYC is really..88 million net.

This whole thing with Cleveland and its owner just has me boggled. I understand that no one in Cleveland can fathom why he would want to take a risk like the one he is taking and take less money and play elsewhere. But it happens all the time. Living in Indiana, I get it. We dont ever get the big name FAs here, why? They dont want to be in these small markets where they are constantly under a microscope and stick out like a sore thumb. Another thing they dont seem to take into consideration is he has lived in Ohio his whole life. This is the biggest thing he has ever done in his life. And I am kind of dissapointed in Mr. Gilbert. I have met him on one or two occasions at Conseco when I drove him and his kids back to his private jet. He seems like a great father who cares about his kids alot. Which is why I cant understand why he would throw Lebron to the wolves like he has. He has basically painted Lebron as this self centered coward who was too scared to stay on a team with a new head coach and rotating role players. Lebron still lives in Akron, for now, after this I think he may have to move.

Eric Snow was on SVP and mentioned that, he also suggested Eddie House makes a lot of sense for the Heat..I tend to agree, and I recall House being a clutch player for Boston.

I suspect three of the role players were taken in the second round, Butler, Vando, and Pittman, especially Butler if his knee is 100%..the Spurs hit a home run with George Hill coming off of a knee problem, maybe the Heat catch some luck with Butler?

I kid you not on this, each suitor made their presentation, including the Cavs, NYC focused on the 1.4 billion, Riles (from what I've heard) simply pointed out that Miami is a great place to play B-Ball and raise a family, the Bulls apparently were relying on World Wide Wes to bring in James, but he lost out to Maverick Carter.

A cartoon of James replete with inside jokes, Cowherd was going on and on about what a great idea that was for a hip 25yr old, from what I heard James laughed along then left.

I know the event doesn't start until 7:30, but my confusion comes from the fact that you guys are talking about the stage, and I have no idea how you all have seen the thing in the first place. FSFLHD isn't showing it, and the Fox Sports live stream isn't up.
