The ESPN douchetard "experts" weigh in.. LMFAO... I CAN NOT F**KING WAIT TO SEE THEM COLLECTIVELY cry like the little bunch of *****es they are if Bron signs with Miami.. Unanimously against us, with Chicago being predicted by all but one ESPN douchetard who, surprise picked NY.

I am SERIOUSLY considering boycotting ESPN for their total lack of class, not just towards Miami but towards Cleveland as well.

If I know Sec at all, I imagine it has something to do with ticket increases being a foreshadowing.

Except that it doesn't happen that way for common sense reasons. There are a limited number of NBA teams. One of the major considerations for the player is where he will play therefore once he tells the team where he wants to go he has already considered and rejected the other options. NBA teams don't then waste time trying to negotiate deals they know will be rejected.

I never believed ESPN was biased towards Miami until the last two days. The absolute indignation that the Heat could get Bosh and LBJ on the faces of simmons and Bucher on that special last night was infuriating.

They hate the [IMG] so much that they now hate everything about Miami.. We had one solid team for a few decades and entire sports media establishment is after us..

I will not watch ESPN anymore. I swear. After the Lebron countdown and their non-sports reporting, they have become more of a joke than the National Enquirer.

Well, Simmons is a blogger (who isn't funny. Shame on you if you like him) and is from Boston. So of course he's gonna hate the idea. And Bucher is so far up Kobe's *** he can see what he had for breakfast.

The Heat will meet with these players early in the process in this order: Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Amare Stoudemire, Carlos Boozer.

All players are opting out (Dirk, Pierce) on information of a possible shift in the new CBA to a hard cap. The Uncertainty and “grandfathering” contracts are driving this run to opting out.

They have secondary meetings setup with: Rudy Gay, Raymond Felton.

The Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh “Trynasty” talk is very real. Real only in the sense that it has been discussed by the players. There was no summit, but The Players spoke recently. Lebron James is the one driving this. Bosh is a bystander and Wade is welcoming it.

Pat Riley HAS NOT approached the subject, and firmly believes in going about his process. The Key to any longterm acquisition in Riley’s mind is longevity and setting up the franchise for contention, for the life of the contracts signed.

Dwyane Wade has asked Pat Riley for a specific group of players that fit his game. The List is very detailed and even includes role players that he knows will take less. Wade has been much more active in this than it has been reported.

Some information on the players being talked about:

Lebron James: James has told Dwyane Wade on several occasions that he would like to rework the entire roster in Cleveland. As late as April, James told Wade that he would not leave Cleveland under any circumstances.

The second round playoff loss has changed things. Apparently.

Dwyane Wade will be the one to convey to Riley if he should spend any further resources or time in pursuing James. Dwyane Wade will drive the process every step of the way.

Lebron James is looked at as a Point Forward / Wing defender to Riley. So those that see Lebron lining up as a SF working off the ball.....rework your fake/mock lineups. Riley believes in having fouls freed up at SF, and would not expose a LBJ to being in foul trouble. LBJ is basically a partime PG in the Heat’s system. Having Wade as a backcourt mate..it makes perfect
    sense.

All the talk of the Bulls being a player for Bron, Bosh, etc...is media driven. The Bulls have Rose ready for a Max in 2 seasons, and Noah has value. They cannot AND WILL NOT as conveyed by THEM to a party involved, will not commit Two max contracts this offseason. SO Lebron will have a choice of basically Rose or Wade as his partner. You be the judge. This is being reported HERE and HERE only. There is NO Bron and Bosh to Chicago possibility. That was made up by the media.

Read between the Lines....it is down to Cleveland and Miami in the Lebron James sweepstakes. (My opinion) My source on the other hand thinks that It is a three team race and Chicago is NOT a possibility, the Three teams: Miami, Cleveland, and New York.

    As for other players:

. Chris Bosh has not been contacted personally by Riley, (That would be tampering) But the thinking in house is that Dwyane Wade has delivered Bosh, and that the Heat is the clear favorite
    to land Bosh.

The Heat is in a very good position for the start of free agency. Gauging interest from free agents on behalf of Wade and others, it has been determined that Amare, Boozer, Bosh, Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay all have the Heat as the #1 destination.

. Amare Stoudemire has a perceived medical issue that is decreasing his value, and really helps the Suns retain him. Some Team doctors will not sign off on a contract longer than 4 years for Stoudemire, and the Heat is operating on this assumption. The MIAMI HEAT MEDICAL STAFF.....HAS NOT formed an opinion or checked Amare Stoudemire’s medicals.

. Carlos Boozer is willing to take less than the Max to play in Miami and has put word out on that. Pat Riley is not a fan, but Dwyane Wade is, and he will drive most of the process.

. Joe Johnson will not be offered the Max or anything near it. The Thinking is that if Joe Johnson is offered a Max contract from Atlanta, he will resign. The thinking in the building is
that the reports of Joe Johnson and Amare playing in New York are curious, since Both players had public falling outs with D’antoni.

. Rudy Gay is a guy Riley likes and could be had for the Junior Max number of 11.5 million starting salary. The First year of the contract can balloon to as much as 14.1 million with a signing bonus, not to exceed 15% of the total contract. It is complicated, but the offer sheet can be made to be prohibitive for the Grizzlies to match. The Grizz do not want to pay a dollar for dollar luxury tax to retain Gay. The way the offer sheet is constructed could force the Grizz to commit upwards of 21 million dollars in the first year to retain Gay.

Sign and Trade options will only be explored in the event that a player requests the 6th year. All max options will be asked to take the 5 year 96 million option over the full max in order to keep Mike Beasley. Pat Riley will only trade Beasley if it is forced to in a S&T. He will not trade him for cap space only.

The Ball is in Lebron James court, for the Trynasty to be a reality. He will have to come to terms with leaving Cleveland. Will He? If he does, he will be a Miami Heat.

Having said that, the Heat has done a Mock Free agency run and has these as destinations.

    Joe Johnson = Chicago
    Amare Stoudemire = Phoenix
Carlos Boozer = New Jersey (Heat will not offer Boozer the Max, thinking is that NJ will)
    Lebron James = Cleveland.

The players I am leaving out...should tell you something.

    Information ends here.

    This is My Opinion:

Judging by what I have been told, it is my opinion that the heat will have Wade, and Bosh very soon. Then try to sell Lebron on Coming here. If he does not come, the Heat will extend an offer sheet for Rudy Gay.

If that fails (Not likely that Memphis will match a junior max contract) they will play the rest by ear. They are content to have Bosh and Wade and then wait on Lebron/Gay. All of the other names mentioned such as John Salmons, Mike Miller, etc...will be dealt with in time.

The facts are that Miami is the hottest destination and they are feeling very good about getting EXACTLY who they want.

Simmons attitude towards Miami sports is mystifying. He is clearly biased for absolutely no reason. He hates the fans, the teams, Riley, everything. Yet he vacations in Miami Beach.

And being from Boston, shouldn't he hate the idea of a great bulls/Knicks team even more?

I won't quote the whole thing, but thank you Sec, and thanks to your source.

How can we afford LeBron and Bosh without trading Beasley though? Doesn't he have to go in a S&T or is it that Pat will trade him if it means getting LeBron, otherwise no?

Well, I think he know there's no way New York can swing a Bosh/Wade/Lebron combo. Miami is the only team that can.

As a trolling Cavs fan I love Sec's update.

For the record - rumors in Cleveland are that we have a few major deals on the table that only fall into place if Bron re-signs. Names being thrown around are Bosh, Igoudala, CP3 (or Collison by the more realistic people).

Know it isn't Heat related but thought it was relevant to the discussion - especially with Sec's insight.

Beasley is only being traded if Riley is forced to in a sign and trade. My sense is that Riley doesn't think lebron will leave Cleveland.

Now if he does come here..Beasley is a goner because I think Bosh will be the first to commit.

Under the Wade/Bosh/Gay scenario we would most likely be keeping Beasely. Would we also be able to retain Haslem? I have heard that he wants a salary in the $6 mill-$7 mill range, but he might take a bit less if he thinks the Heat will be winning some championships. Any guesses on whether we'd be able to retain Haslem if the scenario above plays out?

We'd have only Wade and Bosh on the roster. There would certainly be enough left for another max + A LOT MORE.

Even though that deal is for more and longer, it still STARTS at 16.6 million.

Actually, Wade + Bosh - Beasley/Joel/Chalmers = 23 million remaining in cap space. A little less due to cap holds; probably around 18-20.

I don;t see how unless Haslem wants alot less.

the Heat will not even approach MLE money for Haslem, and you gotta think that will be out there for him.

So Haslem is going to have to give yet another hometown discount.

From everything I've heard I am very, very confident that Chris Bosh will be a Miami Heat very soon. Not as soon as midnight strikes, but very shortly after. I think it'll be a sign-and-trade involving Beasley at least, and perhaps Toronto's pick that we have (hope not - if they're in the lottery in 2014 it's ours).

Beasley & Chalmers. Joel Anthony is restricted.

We also have Pittman, Butler, Vernado (2010 second round picks) and Pat Beverly, Robert Dozier (2009 second round picks). Pittman is a lock to be on the active roster, IMO. I expect Butler, Vernado, and maybe Bev as well.

These players need to keep their big mouths SHUT. David Stern is a backstabbing SOB that has already burned Riley once before.. If this can be traced back to Riley coaching Wade on how to recruit before FA started, we could get nailed again....

I don't like this idea of a summit nor do I like these leaks and conjecture.

Bron will be a villain in Cleveland if he leaves. He promised when he got here he wouldn't leave until he got a ring. He was in on every decision and every player acquisition during his entire time here - to leave (and leave us in this position) would be a pretty huge blow.

Going to Miami would be MUCH easier than Chicago, though. Remember in the 90's it was Jordan beating some very good Cavs teams that kept them away from greater things.

Lebron can quickly change his mind once he realizes:

    South Beach = [IMG]

    Cleveland = Snow and [IMG]

That should help him get over his guilt.
