Last year the Lakers were clearly better than the Magic. This year the better team, the Celtics, got robbed. The NBA has no shame.

And I cheered for them last year... and the previous three. I've always cheered for Kobe. This is the biggest choke job in the history of "greats" in the NBA Finals though, but he still got a ring out of it. Celtics should be ashamed. Forget about the refs for a minute. Kobe and Gasol were both off, and they still got the L. That is beyond sad.
If Gasol becomes an NBA Finals MVP then the reward becomes officially irrelevant... I won't even credit Dwyane Wade for being an NBA Finals MVP anymore if ****ing Gasol joins him on that list.
I refuse to have a "debate" with any Lakers fans. No disrespect to Samphin. He's one of the very few Lakers fans that I have respect for since 85% of the rest of them are bandwagon and will swap teams again once Kobe retires. The majority of that fan base were Bulls fans during Jordan's era.
I was very close to betting on the Celts in this one, decided not to simply because the idea of placing money on a wrestling match in tank tops sounded kinda dumb on second thought, and of course the Lakers had 4 home games. Rigged? Maybe, either way though, this is the NBA's product, fans buy it, or pass on it, if one knows the Refs are crappy, if one knows home court means additional calls, then why in the hell watch the thing? For me I watch because it is pro wrestling made respectable, but caring about the outcome is kinda dumb imho, every year, same old crap.
The better team got robbed. Lakers missed shots and the refs helped them make it up at the line. The NBA is clearly fixed, its well known. That said, the Celtics lost out on alot of opportunities to stick it to the Lakers when they were leading. Not enough big shots hit. When the NBA conspires against you, you have to play as perfect as possible and they didn't do it. Oh well, hate the stupid Celtics anyway.
I agree this Kobe choke job has me thinking differently and when I heard Shaq say if they win game 7 he will god own as the greatest Laker of all-time. I nearly died of laughter. Can we petition to get David Stern fired? Is it possible not to have a fixed sporting event?
