I think it is important to make big plays but I think it is more important to sustain drives and Camarillo certainly can help do that. I also believe you need a Camarillo type of player to help make BM more effective and to give Henne a little security if his other receivers are covered. I wonder if NE would be as quick to jump on Camarillo as they did Welker?

I never said Miami lit it up. Miami improved when Bess took over his role. Football isn't so much as changing from crappy to lighting up. A lot of times small improvements can pay dividends.
Eldman's fit in the offense and quickness. His ability to get open as a rookie, which should only improve. Especially for an ex-quarterback.
Who's to say Cam wouldn't fit in that offense? (assuming they don't really shift to a "power offense"; lol again @ that idea)

bess is good in the slot and Hartline has the speed to take some passes deep. After that most wide reciever throws should go to Marshall. Then you have tight ends and runningbacks.
You act like he is the only wide reciever that is capable of doing these things. I am sorry I do not share the same excitement as you for a decent NFL player. he is good at what he does, however he isn't faultless and is upgradable.
Exactly, as well as DBess. Philosophically speaking, we need an offense that can pressure a defense on the outside, Greg C offers sure handed production, but not pressure. Ditto with the Kick Returner job, a player who can make good decisions as well as pressuring the opponent's kick coverage unit. Sooner or later, you have to trade the minivan in for the sportscar. As an addition, Camarillo has been compared to Biletnikoff, the comparison doesn't really hold up: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BileFr00.htm He consistently outgained Greg C in YPC avg, ditto such players as Steve Largent, having 2 Wr's who average right around 10 ypc is not a good recipe for a explosive offense, toss in BMarsh's 13 ypc avg and other than Hartline, the other 3 Wr are not deep threats in any sense of the term.
Fact is: he is not the only wide receiver capable of doing these things; there is no dispute on that end. Every receiver (theoretically) in the NFL is capable of making these plays. But will every receiver put forth the effort into making these plays? Nope. Hell, not even the more talented receivers don't always put forth the effort (see: Roy Williams). When you have a 110% guy with a chip on his shoulder, you keep him on your team. A decent NFL player putting forth 110 % effort is that much more valuable than a very talented NFL player putting forth less than half the effort. Example: Hines Ward (who is not as physically talented as people think he is/was) OVER Plaxico Burress (who made his bones later in NY) in Pittsburgh. There is no doubt he isn't perfect and IS upgradeable. But he isn't as expendable as you make him out to be.

He's going to be the FOURTH option on a team that for the first time in a couple decades, will actually suit up a legitimate number one WR...... He's perfectly suitable and no, we don't need an upgrade at #4 WR You guys are killin me with this
