You have to take what you can get. At this point, a 5 year stint from a coach who only has 2 losing seasons in 22 years (7-9 in his last year with the Chiefs, and 4-12 in in his second year with the Chargers, which was followed by 12-4) would be better than the Dolphins have had since Shula.

    Joe Gibbs is 67
    Romeo Crennel is 60
    Holmgren is 60 next year
    Belicheks almost 60
If not for health reasons Parcells would still be coaching. and hes almost 70.
    Coughlins 61.

In fact, it's only been recently that NFL franchises have been looking for young guys to coach. Being 50-65 used to be the norm.

Yeah, Parcells is 66. Cowher is 50. The age isn't what I'm worried about with Marty. I'm worried that he's too stubborn to change his Marty Ball ways.

Basically what would be ideal is if Parcells comes in as GM, Cowher is hired as head coach (if hes being a pansy and doesnt want to come back for another year, fine. Hire Marty) and we spend our upcoming 10-12 draft picks on some amazing talent.

I don't trust Cam and Mueller's abilities to let them spearhead such an important draft that could literally make or continually break us for years to come.
