This appears to be very good news ... http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Ronnie-Brown-making-progress.html
I think this would be the perfect time for Ronnie to drop his weight significantly, keeping pressure off the foot is a no brainer, and, his game could use the extra speed, like to see ronnie brown play at a legit 220 225 lbs....how freakin sweet would that be...
That reminds me of when Ricky Williams first came to Miami. He was like around 240 or 250 because he was getting ready to play baseball or something. Then he got down to about 228 and had the best year of his career (1,853 yds, 13 TD's). I would love to see that happen with Ronnie.
I wonder how were gonna deal with his contract he is a free agent in like 40 mins and anyone could pick him up.
theTandemfromHell will run over 2000 yards this season. I guarantee it. they will burn turf throughout the NFL
Not true, kong..... The fins tendered Brown at a higher level than what 110% of his 2009 salary was, therefore we don't need to do anything to retain exclusive negotiating rights on him. He has until July 22 to sign his tender or he will have to then sit out of TC and up until the 10th week of the season (or until he signs a deal with us). After that he can not play the rest of the season. But either way, we retain exclusive negotiating rights on him.
