Thanks man! Yes LOL crazy happy about this, as much as I wanted it to happen I didn't ever think it would. Was perfect timing thou with Holmes getting dealt for such a low pick that had to help persuade the Broncos to let him go cheaper. August can't get here soon enough!

Agree. I think of the 3 mentioned Marshall is the best option.
Boldin seems to be breaking down and is 3 years older.
Holmes may well be a one year wonder - last year was his first with 1000+ yds.
    He's smallish - I think 5'11, 192 lbs. AND he won't even play the first 4 games.

Imagine if we made a play for both Holmes and Marshall. Damn, Holmes was very good last year don't forget.

No one's arguing that as Andre Johnson is the hands down best reciever and Larry Fitzgerald is better as well.

Man, I'm so pumped to have Marshall and it's weird. I was one of the people who wasn't interested initially because of his attitude and off field concerns, even though he has incredible talent. Now I'm ecstatic over him being here and I think a big part of that is because I believe we can control him and he can be a better person here. I'm all about giving people second chances and I'm thrilled to have him here helping out team win games.

    Welcome to Miami, Brandon!

um yeah comprehension is key..... where did i say you hated it

as for king he did say possible third on the dan patrick show he even used the 43 and a mid third next year in comparison to the value chart. says it would equal a 26 overall pick.

you telling me im hearing things or calling me a liar

While I super ecstatic about this trade it clearly doesn't make us one of the TOP units on offense.

What would is now drafting Dez Bryant in the first round... Than I would completely agree and go ape ****... Although I do feel this trade was made in reaction to some other moves. I feel they kind of forced our FO to move off their "template" so to speak.

Imagine Marshal, Bryant, and Ginn, Bess, and the rest of the crew fighting for that 3rd and forth spot....

I would salivate at that.. Or making Ginn the full time special teamer and letting or young receivers fight it out!

Than my friends we have a potent offense assuming we keep Ronnie, ricky and crew..

Chad Henning now has a legit target, and should grow in confidence rather quickly.

However the real thing is Miami will make out with this they now can draft a Nose tackle at #12 filling two MAJOR issues quickly...

Great job I have to say.. Even with my *****ing they could prove me wrong..

When I was listening to him on the opening drive he equated what we gave up (assuming it IS a second next year) to a first round pick.. In any event, we needed a playmaker at WR so if we had to give up 2 seconds to help Henne become successful, so be it.. This trade will make everyone on the offense better in terms of the double teams Marshall will absolutely command.

I think the logical move is to try and trade down in the first now and end up with a Jerry Hughes or Brandon Graham, while still trying to get an extra pick out of the deal.

Most likely it would have played out like this. Seattle trades for Marshall and Denver takes Bryant at #11, leaving Miami high and dry. They would have had to try and leapfrog the Broncos to get Bryant imo, and that would have cost something...

the redskins gave up a 2nd rounder and potentially a 3rd round next year for mcnabb and if we give up our second rounder and it is our 3rd round pick for next year i like that alot even if its the 2nd i think we did good

the 2-2's (or "tutu's" as JT would say) we're paying IMO is fair and reasonable considering BM's upside but also his risks.

Relatedly, you gotta laugh at the irony of a drunken Beverly Hillbilly declaring that BP's "not worth a sh*t" when you know if it was still on The Tuna's watch he wouldn't have stood for Jerry squandering away a 1st, 3rd and 6th for a failure like Roy Williams!

Although a great idea, I would think the team needs a Safety, OLB, and a NT before TE...

I really hope we can trade down in the first now.

Hell now we need to draft a nose tackle and he will be sitting right there DAN WILLIAMS OR MC CLAIN on the end.

I'm a big Marshall fan ON the field and not so much of a fan of his off the field antics. BUT what the team did today is they GOT BETTER!!

He's missed 2 games in 4 yrs, and has over 1000 yrds, and 100 catches in the last 3 yrs. He can score from anywhere on the field. The deep pass just got a whole lot better, and the possession Wr position just got a ton better at the same time.

Now hire someone to be his new best friend, body guard, and babysitter please.... :-)

    Not really all that disconcerting...

Last time Revis faced Marshall he had 55 yards and no TD's...

    In Mangini's system.

I'm sure Revis and Rex are worried. :pity:

    Will he be returning kicks?

Or helping you break the 100 total offensive yard plateau in the next game?

Our record in the playoffs last season.

Twice the amount of wins Miami has seen in the playoffs for over a decade.

Sure. Ask the Saints who has a better record in the playoffs. Miami or the Jets. I bet they don't care cause if you don't win it all, you haven't done anything.

Example: The Chargers. they have won 8 playoff games in the last several years. fat lot of good its done for them.

Beating the Jets is the highlight of your season.

Losing to the Dolphins, although annoying was just a hiccup.

We kept playing in January while you watched broken hearted as the Jets won two road playoff games.

    Hilarious.

Example: The Dolphins. Can't really tell another fan what it means when they win a playoff game because they haven't done it in so long.
