I always like high upside players after the first couple of rounds. Once you get in to mid round four and the best guys are off the board I think taking a high upside player is a great decision. Nicely done alen.
wasnt butler ranked in the top 10 in the early rankings? its not much of a nova vs gtown when, despite the #5 seed, butler is a pretty good team. i was thinkin about this on saturday night, its more of a colts vs saints matchup...and butlers coach kinda looks like sean payton. oh lord help yall if duke loses. thats all im sayin
it was #10-12 or so, but anyways, yeah it was up there. its nothin like george mason from a couple years ago with the whole 'cinderella' thing. theres no question that theyre a good team..and no offense taken
Thanks bro. I didn't want to pass him up. Way too much talent. Now if he can just get back to the level he played before the injury, play well in the NFL, then he'll make me look smart lol.
a lot of the same qualities..... hell, maybe mcknight has even better vision... either way a decent pick in rd 4.... now i need another 4 to make my other surprise rd 2 pick....
Joe McKnight is a total asswipe. I played him at Madden on XBL last year and he was a total dick. i beat his ****ing ***. He's like, "dont you know who this is? im joe mcknight!" im like, "oh, well that explains why youre losing so badly" he couldnt handle losing. it was awesome. i made sure to say go buckeyes a few times in there. and i begged him to never play for the dolphins.
That's fine, next years class is very talented. Have you seen Amukamara? He's the best cornerback in the nation IMO and he's only started one year. Former wide receiver that has damn good hips and ball skills.
Watching Nebraska vs Texas at the moment and I think it was JAX that got Phillip Dillard when they weren't at the computer? That's a helluva pick IMO. I've watched Dillard before and he impressed me and this game he's doing it again. Instinctive, can cover really well and has enough range to track ball carriers. He's not bad at taking on blocks either IMO. I wouldn't complain if he was here in Miami.
He's right up there too. I just like Prince Amukamara a lot. I think he's so talented. Barring injury, I think he's a first rounder next year.
im not all that familiar with players eligible for next year, but i really like patrick patterson. living in sec country, patterson is a beast. true shutdown corner.
yeah last year i racked up with mel mitchell, david buehler, victor butler, stephen hodge, and arian foster
Nice! So apparently there is a reason to keep up with who is being picked after I finished my draft with 123 and 129....
Patrick Peterson is very good, he's just not too bright academically. He paid someone to take his SAT for him in high school so he could enroll to the U. When Randy Shannon found out, he wouldn't let him into the school so LSU came calling, of course, and took him in lol. On the football field though, it seems like every time he gets his hand on a ball, its a pick.
I don't know ... if I'm an NFL GM to me that displays out of box critical thinking, creativity, and originality.
