    It isn't an all world defense even if they pick defense at 12, but it is clear, very clear, that winning is not a possibly with that defense the way it is....while the NFL has rules in place to help the offense true, that doesnt all of a sudden mean teams are going to abandon their defenses....

    Offense wins games, defense wins championships...

    It doesn't really matter, they aren't drafting him....

    To help out one of his players, who granted showed improvement...why not? I would, it is in-house stuff that got out in the public unfortunately, if one of my players showed improvement, and played by the rules after that, I would have no doubt I would cover for him to make his stock try and go up, and if you think stuff like that doesnt go on....IDK what to tell ya...

    I know it goes on, but this particular coach has a long standing reputation as a guy who tells it like it is. I don't think he would risk his own reputation on something that was likely to get out and show him to be a liar.

    I just think that if people want to criticize Bryant they should do it for real reasons rather than fabrications.

    I have such conflicting opinions of this kid. From his dismissal of the cleats, the first diva I also thought about was Iverson.

    With the prospect of "mentor" Neon The Moronic Deion continually sticking his 1.5 cents in where it doesn't belong, and having to deal with Eugene Parker, I can easily foresee a replay of Crabtree wanting top 6 or so money despite dropping to 12 and a possible disruptive and contentious holdout.

    Not to say he's not the real deal on the field, but seriously, this guy has been flashing more red flags than a Spanish matador and I fear it's the Fins who'd end up like this particular bullfighter did in the end!

    Tell that to the Jets...

    And you have no idea who they will draft......hell they took Pat White last year so all bets are off and far as profiling them.

    And no one is saying abandon the defense......

    What helps more.......a bunch of LB's or DE's you hope can convert to a new position or scoring 35 a game?

    Tell it to the Saints....they won with what?? they scored points agreed, but the defense made Peyton off balance for most of the game, and especially in the second half.....as well as stuck the dagger in Peyton with a pick 6....the Jets had a rookie QB, too much to overcome...

    last year, they had the most major of needs where besides WR.....CB, and they took it round one...one could argue OLB, and NT too last year...but CB was pretty glaring IMO...much like NT, and FS is this year....even though I pray they dont take Williams...they will be just like the Saints 2-4 years ago with Dez, score a bunch, and cant stop anybody...not a winning formula, you have to be able to make a play when called upon...much like the Saints this year...the offense will come around....

    the WR corp albeit isnt the absolute best, it can function with what they have got right now, they cannot function with that defense....Dez makes no sense other than he is a beast, I will give you that, the kid can ball bro...

    Why not Harvin last year??

    The grammar is irrelevant. The content of what he says is relevant.

    Can you say "A-hole?"

    Flat-out exaggerated BS. Describe exactly how Dez Bryant is acting like Michael Crabtree. In detail.

    While this kid may well be among the most promising NFL talents, with a sincere determination to succeed, his mouth paints a picture of floundering character, using a brush of contempt, that expresses an upbringing deeply ingrained, and surrounded by ignorance.
    Appearing edgy and defiant, I suspect the result of finding himself in the rare position of needing to conjure up a minimal sense of humility, and unconditional respect toward any wouldbe employers, contemplating the idea of placing their neck on a guillotine, in exchange for his godgiven services,
    lets just say, its a good thing for him the market isn't saturated with the kind of product he's peddling.

    I guarantee you that no matter where he is drafted, there will be a long, protracted hold out due to his agent.

    I have to add that NO won last Season and not just the SB mostly based on their 30+ PPG Offense. We are not that style of Offense. Their Defense thought they did have their game changing plays, gave way to many points again this past year at in opportuned times... but they still won...

    In 2009 New Orleans Defense allowed 10 games of at least 23 points, 7 of them of at least 27 points including a PS game...

    In contrary to their team our Defense allowed 11 games of at least 23 points, 8 of them of at least 27 points...

    When you look at these statistics you can see a difference of only ONE game, but the team's win/loss records are far different...

    good point, and Miami did have the tougher schedule as well, however Miami defense unquestionably gave up way to many big plays....probably one of the worst in the league....Miami's defense seemed to slip when it counted most at the end of the year, where NO's and all good SB caliber teams should and did gel and were fine at the end of the year...

    I looked at it once and in terms of big plays produced and big plays allowed (big plays being plays of 20+ yards) we were fourth worst in the league ahead of the Rams, Browns and one other really crappy team I'm blanking on.

    Could be Red Flag, don't you think??? :wink2:

    It went something like this (according to NFL.COM)...

    STL= 29- 56 PLays
    MIA= 30- 57
    Tenn= 31- 61
    Clev= 32- 62
