Do you have any proof that wade will be back AND we will pick up amare/bosh or just pure speculation? You're already talking as if they're on the roster when there's no guarantee that even wade will return. I mean that was a great win but you guys are talking as if the bull's are the nets. They had a bad game and I don't think in a 7 game series we could beat them. For some reason which even wade himself cannot deny is Kirk Heinrich, unfortunately, has his number. And like you pointed out, Wade only scored 12. When has the bench ever stepped up like that this year? And do you really feel (bias aside) that the bench will step up like that when its the post season?

i would love it if they traded beaslely for rose some how. maybe throw in arroyo.
rose and chalmers would be a nice PG team.

maybe beasley will wake up in the playoffs.

    OMG...it is an epidemic.

Wade will be back. relax. Wade scored 12 by choice. look at his assists.

the Bulls are crap. The Heat would wipe their *** with them in a 7 game series.

that's weird, because beasley's nickname for wade is "all mighty" (i saw this on an nbatv interview friday).

my guess is he's smoking again. he just plays, and acts, like somebody who is high all the time.

    another thing,

every time beasley gives an interview i hang my head in embarassment. i understand the nba isn't rocket science, but god this guy is dumb.

hopefully we can get arroyo and wright back for next year. arroyo, wade, wright, haslem and JO is easily our best five right now.

I've always been a big supporter... but I must say, I wish he was a Bull as much, well, probably far more than even he does. I'm sure I speak for the majority (if not all) of the Miami Heat front office, coaching staff, roster, and fan base.

Because that means one thing and one thing only... Derrick Rose. Wade himself was disappointed when he represented the Heat at the lottery. Saw it in his face. He was very disappointed.

I disagree...and watching Wade play the last month has sealed for me. Playing a ball dominating PG next to Wade hurts Wade's productivity.

The ideal back court partner for Wade is a guy that defends and takes care of the ball.

I agree with that... but I also wouldn't turn down the opportunity to have such a talented player, regardless of position. You put Derrick Rose on the trade market and you can name your price. Plus, I think he'll eventually develop his mid range game and if/when he does he'll be one of the best players in the league. I'd take Rose over Beasley any day of the week... Wade would, too.

On the flip side of the argument, Wade/Beasley don't co-exist all too well so I wouldn't dismiss Rose due to the fact that both Wade and Rose are better players with the ball than without.

Nice help from Toronto tonight defeating Charlotte by 2... we're 1.5 games ahead of them now for the 6th spot. Still 1 game behind Milwaukee but as previously stated we've got by far the "easiest" remaining schedule.

My father brought this up the other day and it interested me enough to look a bit more into it... one thing that stood out to me:

    Post All Star Game...

    Amare Stoudemire:
    20 Games / Starts
    27.6 PPG
    9.9 RPG
    1.1 BPG
    55.6% Shooting
80.2% FT (attempting 10 per game!)

    Chris Bosh:
    13 Games / Starts
    21.7 PPG
    8.9 RPG
    0.6 BPG
    46.5% Shooting
82.9% FT (attempting 6 per game)

Amare Stoudemire is ****ing beasting right now. You CANNOT find a single big man in the league playing better basketball than STAT over the last two months. He's probably one of the five best players in the league right now as of RECENT play.

What's the main difference that people bring up as to why they prefer Bosh to STAT? One is height. OK, they're an inch apart. Another is age. OK, they're two years apart. The other is the injury history which is another discussion, but in STAT's defense he's been pretty healthy this year. Is Bosh a better scorer, rebounder, shot blocker, defender, post player, etc.? I think when you sum all traits up they are as even as can be, and this year, you can make the argument that STAT has been the better player. I know he's in a more freelance offense with a PG the caliber of Steve Nash finding him easy looks... but Dwyane Wade will provide pretty much the same while being the first option scorer that Nash is not to take even more pressure away from STAT.

Can you imagine the pairing of a player capable of dropping 28/10 over the span of TWENTY GAMES (not 5 or even 10) next to Dwyane Wade, in addition to what Michael Beasley (or whatever he's traded for) and another mid-level player or two is capable of adding? EC favorites for sure.

If given a choice... I do not know if I'd take Bosh over STAT right now for THIS TEAM.

STAT is just the absolute perfect big man to pair with Dwyane Wade. Perfect.

Funny that most of us (myself included) didn't think that the addition of STAT would do more than get Miami into maybe the second round this year, but I think he'd of made Miami a threat to take the conference.

Talk contract year all you want. I call it finally being completely healthy and motivated. Remember the last time he was 100% healthy? Wasn't a contract year. Averaged 25/9 with 2 blocks in 79 games.

I personally prefer Bosh over STAT. The team chemistry overall should improve. there'll be a more defined role at the post. Wade working outside around Bosh makes more sense to me. Heat needs a big man inside who is more of a shot blocker/changer. Anyway, I don't see Bosh wanting to leave Toronto so it's probably all talk.

    Nice beatdown of Detroit tonight.

12-3 in March for the best March in Heat History.

Beasley was a beast tonight with Wade apparently taking the night off on the court...LOL

28 and 9 for Beasley. very nice.

Two game stretch coming up on the road in a B2B.

Indiana is playing lights out lately and Indiana on the road has always been a house of horrors for us.

Gonna need Wade to be himself for that one...(he will). JO is expected back.

    This team is rollin'.

Right now, the 6 Seed is a nice place to be, since ATL has the 3 Seed. The way we're playing, we can beat them in 6 games. You have to think we'd wind up with Orlando as a second round opponent, and we can take them to 7, though whether or not we win that 7th game is up in the air.

All of a sudden this team has its collective head removed from its rear end.

Nice turnaround by the Heat... For all the Spo doubters, he certainly has had a good run down the stretch both years he has been in charge.. The sign of a good coach... Prepared and ready for the playoffs.. As for the ATL, they still match up well with us.. The outcome would probably be similar to last year..

SO we will be up 3 games to 2 when Wade gets hurt in a game and we lose?

    Just sayin'.

The Hawks do look real good...but for some reason, we dominated them this year.

Knowing were not going past the 2nd round, Im still excited for the playoffs this year. Its good that were finally seeing a couple of guys who are are likely going to be part of the core we're building next year. I think the best move we've made this year was moving Arroyo to starter. He's obviously alot more comfortable in our offense now that he's had a season to learn it and adjust. He's developed good chemistry with Wade and the other guys. Q-Rich I think is going to be an important complimentary player for us next year when we get our new stars. How we do in the playoffs is going to help some FA's make up their minds on whether or not join D-Wade in our conquest to build a contenter.

If I had to bet on a record right now I'd probably go with 47-35 which exceeds most (including mine) expectations and is really TREMENDOUS for a team that was UNDER .500 heading into the break. Will probably lose a game that we should win, but that's it really. With the schedule we've got... 46-36 is probably the worst this team finishes. Winning out is a REALISTIC possibility which is crazy, as that would jump us into the postseason with 13 straight wins.

Indiana also scares me more than any other game on the schedule.

Still man, as much as I want to finish strong I really, really want to play Atlanta in the first round.

From the first one to criticize Spo whether wrong or questionable, congratulations Spo...

    http://www.nba.com/heat/multimedia/spoelstra_named_coach_the_month_2010.html

He's been DAMN GOOD lately I must admit. Showing true signs of progress. This is what I was hoping to see at the beginning of the season and was disappointed when I didn't see initial progress, but late is better than never in most cases.

    It's Rondo.

but this time, Rondo would be forced to guard the P&R and he would be forced to pay attention to Arroyo's dribble.

    But Rondo is the problem.
