Well, by my count we have 18 so far. Let's see how many more join over the next 24 hours or so, and we can go from there in terms of starting to divvy up the remaining teams amongst us.

OK...by my count, we now have 20 GM's, with eight people offering to cover a second team, if necessary. Today, I want to see if we get any more people wanting to participate. I also want to hear from anyone who is already assigned to a team that wants to take on another team (again, if necessary). In doing so, what team is your preference (if any). As of right now, I already have;

Padre down for the Bears
Bpk wants the Chiefs
Skeet, Chargers
BK, Vikings
And, RickyC, the Eagles

VMF, Adam and Rocky have also offered to take on another team as well, but haven't declared which one (unless I missed it). At this point, I'd like you all to tell me, of the available teams, which one you would prefer to take on as a second team? That goes for anyone else that might be interested in taking on a second team as well. Please keep in mind though, I will defer to any new player for any particular team. In other words, say you offer to take on the Titans as a second team, but someone new comes and takes them. I feel compelled to let the new player have them. Make sense?

Now, if you're cool with taking on a second team, and it doesn't matter which one, that's great! That gives me some room to maneuver. Just say you don't care, and I'll use you (if necessary) for whatever team(s) that may be leftover.

So here's where we're at. We have 22 GM's, nine of which have offered to take on a second team. That leaves one team...Pittsburgh.

OK, so what I'm gonna do is let this thing ride for one more night. Push comes to shove, I'll take Pittsburgh as my second team, so we can start drafting. Having said that, I'm still targeting 4/1 to start. So, we still have time for more new players, if more want to join.

Basically, I'm thinking we should be able to squeeze in 2-3 rounds between now and the time the real draft starts. We can go as long as everyone is interested in keeping it going though. So, maybe more?

I started this recruiting thread last Friday, GIK. Where you been dude?

If GIK wants Pitt, that's fine. But, let's seal the deal now, 'cause I'd really rather not have GM's trading teams once we start drafting.
