So, with my team officially out of the tournament, I have no real interest in the tournament anymore. So I'm rooting for the underdogs from here on out - except NIU of course. So let's go St. Mary's!
But after having a day to think (and recover from last night), I'm not really surprised KU lost. That's the way they lost all of their games this year: a slow start, with the other team very hot from outside the 3 point line, and fading play of their big men down the stretch. All of that happened last night, leading to the upset. I'm probably the most disappointed in Sherron Collins, who I fully expected to take over at some point last night, and he just didn't get the job done. It'll be interesting to see who comes back, if any, between Tyshawn Taylor, Cole Aldrich, Xavier Henry, and the Morris twins. I'd expect the Morris's to come back, but the others I'm not sure.

Why all the hatred for Duke? I mean, they play by the rules and actually graduate basketball players? After living in Tucson and watching the absolute BS Lute Olson and his kids got away with warped me,,,,,but, I like to think there actually a bit of integrity left in the Collegiate system...am I wrong?

Coach K is a huge crybaby. It doesn't matter if it's a good call or bad, if a referee blows the whistle he's crying. He teaches the art of flopping. The local fans are clueless. Their team hasn't even been to a championship game since 2001 but yet think they're the best team ever. I can't wait for them to once again not make the championship game this year. Wonder what their excuse will be this time.
So you hate on them for falling short every year? Damn, I would LOVE coach K to drop that job and come replace Alford at UNM. I mean, I LOVE what Steve Alford has done in his short stint, but cmon, Coach K is as good as it gets. His kids always compete The vast majority of his kids graduate...from one of the best learning institutions in the Nation His kids never get in trouble...even after going onto the NBA. Perhaps the best testimony to how good a coach he is, is how bad even his stars are at the next level. Yep, hands down, beast coach in the NCAA and that includes every aspect of what it represents, most importantly is integrity....once upon a time, that was actually important at the College level.

UNC will be back at the top of the ACC next year, especially if Ed Davis stays around. Coach K spent two years recruiting Barnes and Coach Roy came in and got him with only 3 months.
