Every tgj lover acts like he cured cancer. He is a 4th reciever behind an extremely pedestrian receiving corps. Furthermore, he has the potential to be a weapon in the return game if he weren't so concerned with fleeing the field of play. He makes every route he runs into a sideline pattern with his lack of heart and his hands are so bad he makes Braylon Edwards look like Jerry Rice. No heart. No head. No hands. Thus, no place on this roster
Remember the time when Ted Ginn....... caught that fea flicker vs Seattle. Good times! play along kids! replace the aqua text with your own Ted Ginn memory.
Remember the time when Ted Ginn....... caught that TD over the most overrated corner in the NFL. Good times! play along kids! replace the aqua text with your own Ted Ginn memory.
Remember when Ted ginn was drafted before Bust and FAN FAV Brady Quinn? Remember when Ted Ginn single handidly beat the Jets? Remember when Ted Ginn forced a fumble that wouldve given Miami a touchback that was a blown call? FYI Gibril Wilson REALLY lost the Colts game? I heart teddy ginn the love of my life
remember when ginn crossed his arms up and tipped the ball in the air giving the saints a touch down? so whats that.....BOTH superbowl teams he lost the game for us? anyone else remember the great season he had in "the almighty year #3" ?? no? me neither.
I disagree with the no hands. Until this season, he's never had any issues with drops. Not in the NFL or college...so are we going back to high school now? He also made a few extremely difficult catches this year that I don't think a lot of receivers make. Plus his route running actually got a lot better this year, leaps and bounds I'd say. Now if you want to criticize what does with the ball in his hands...go for it. But I will say that he's never going to be the type to break tackles or lower his head for a yard. There were a few times this year there was absolutely nowhere to go when he ducked down, and he was still criticized for it.
Yeah he might make a few of those when he knows he's in a safe zone or by some miracle of god he actually mixes it up and goes after a ball.....but rarely........wayyyyyy too rarely. Comedy club, open mike night..........be there No criticism here.......no one desperately avoids contact like Teddy
OK, Remember when Ted Ginn ran out of bounds a yard short of the first down and Coach S almost had a stroke? In all seriousness, I can't believe we didn't make a move at WR yet. Maybe this year Ginn will surprise me, because I don't expect anything from him.
One play doesn't leave one person accountable for an entire game. We held the ball for 45 minutes, there's no excuse for our defense to **** the bed against the Colts. We had a 3 touchdown (or damn close) lead on the Saints at half, there's no excuse for our defense to **** the bed against the Saints. People need to just give up the whole "he's not a #1 receiver" argument that we always we hear. Everyone knows he's not a #1 receiver, but to act as if he cannot help this team out is laughable, at best.
I told everyone we should have drafted Miles Austin instead of Jason Allen. MAN I WAS RIGHT 99% of the people that didn't want ginn wanted Brady Quinn. But most of those people now say "ted ginn sucks we should have drafted patrick willis" easy to change your mind from a bust to that draft's MVP. no, ginn has not proved anywhere near his 1st round pick yet, but if we didn't draft ginn we sure as heck would have drafted quinn, and chances are we'd be in a worse spot now, because we wouldn't have had pennington to get us to the playoffs, we'd have had quinn blowing games for us. So how about that? The drafting of ginn instead of quinn led to the signing of Pennington over time, and therefore ginn indirectly played a huge part in us making the playoffs! take that!
I like you guys but there is no need for this endless back and forth bickering. This subject remains to be the biggest dividing point between us fans. Not a good thing fella's.
Oh and for team ginn, who has the audacity to question others fandom for realizing their beloved 'gamebreaker' is a cowardly inconsistent chump: after enduring countless playoff heartbreaks and a 1-15 debacle, you dare question my love of this team? Blow it out your rearend with that garbage.
And another thing, was Teddy raised under Hamurabi's code? Just trying to find out why he has no hands.
you were better in 2009. your offseason conditioning program needs improvement. Hopefully you'll be in fighting shape once the season rolls around
This is just a messing around cuz we're bored thread..... That and we're trying to help Teddy stave off Dez Bryant from taking his spot as number one guy to argue over.
