The games, for the most part, have all been pretty much fantastic. ND/Old Dominion went to the wire, Villanova/Robert Morris into OT, Florida/BYU into 2 OTs. But the Murray State buzzer beater has been the highlight of the day. Baylor finally pulled away late, but that was also a close game. Even St. Mary's/Richmond was good. The only real blowout was K-State. Though right now I'm watching one of my Sweet 16 teams just completely **** the bed against Butler.
Go UNLV! they have a good chance to win today, unless they play like last week and miss almost every 3. They stand no chance against Kansas though
Aside from the fact that we sent 4 teams, the MWC is getting very little love. I have a feeling both UNLV and SDSU are gonna surprise some people. So, j have been reading that Villian ova, who already had ZERO business as a 2 seed, also got several beneficial calls.
Bad calls have been a hallmark of the early going. Nova, Vandy, and Butler have all gotten the lion's share of favorable calls from the officials. Which is strange because you'd think the NCAA would love the upsets.

So, are you actually watching the games on TV? Stooopid freakin Direct TV has exactly 1 (ONE) Freakin game on today.... Texas. I cant WAIT till Verizon gets me some FiOS here. I'm ready to sell my 52" plasma and just quit that stooopid subscription.
I've got the Mega March Madness package so I can watch all the games ... it's 70 bucks but well worth it. I've been watching games for 9 hours straight and I have another 3 to go, easy. I've seen 5 great games, several very good games, and been thoroughly entertained all day long. It's expensive, but if you're a college hoops fan (I am) it's well worth it. You can also stream any game you want on CBSSports.com, because CBS is actually pretty good with their coverage ... so feel free to watch something online in light of paying out the behind for it.
So......when did this ISH of having to pay to watch this start? Telling you guys, in a couple of years, every single Football game is going to be PPV.... I LOVE my Lobo's but, there is zero chance of me paying a dime more than the incredible amount I already overpay DIrect..... Just aint gonna happen. Riiight.... But you realize, by buying into it, you are enabling it.....???? Sorry, but to have to pay to watch College Basketball goes directly against the fabric of all that is right. Guess I havent seen it in a couple of years, cause I honestly had no idea. I spent a good part of the last two days, scouring over the entire 800 BS channels of Direct package to try to find something...anything. Okay, who am I trying to kid. Direct offers obscene amounts of channels, but truth is I only had to search about 7 possible channels. 85% of the rest are PPV or home shopping network......
It was a great game man, you can't fault either team in a game like that. Kruger and Alford are both very good coaches making smaller programs look like powerhouses. Plus now I can text Griddles when KU stomps Northern Iowa on Saturday ...
Right now I'm beginning to get very annoyed with the Lehigh Mountain Hawks. Not exactly a great start for KU.
Congrats on the Wash. pick. More than likely Kansas will still win by 15+. Lehigh doesn't have the ability to compete with a powerhouse for 40 mins.

Sherron Collins won't let the Hawks lose tonight. That's 2 3s in the last 30 seconds. And it's a 5 point spurt to close the half. Not a great half, but a pretty good finish. Self will light these guys up at half.
Got the last 40 seconds of the Kansas game. Sure looked like the better team during that time. They need to start the second half hot and put the game away quickly.
Yeah the game was amazing. Close throughout. We were up by 8 then they come back, then they go up late in the game and we come back and it ends in a shootout. I wish when we got hot, we stayed hot. It seems like they cooled down when they had a lead
