The Browns have been as busy as anyone in the trade department thus far acquiring many key players to make Cleveland a winner again. Cleveland ranked dead last in passing last year and the running game wasnt all that much better as they lacked playmakers all over the field. That wont be a problem any longer. Insert Calvin Johnson a true physical speciman who the Browns view as a top 4 or 5 WR right now with the potential to be the best in the game. "We sort of stumbled upon Johnson" said Browns GM Fin-O...."We were looking to add two young up and coming defesive players and Johnson just fell into the deal" New Browns QB Mark Sanchez who was told he would have a number of playmakers around him was not dissapointed, as the Browns also added Track Star and Darelle Revis burner Ted Ginn Jr. "We know Teds problems are more mental than physical, he has NO pressure on him here and he is back in his comfort zone" Ginn was ecstatic about the trade and the chance to come back home. "dis wus uh grate opputunitee fo me to dowhatido" These 2 guys split wide will open up alot of space for up and coming slot specialist Danny Amendola. Amendola is held in high regard and considering the attention the defensive backs will have to pay to Ginn and Johnson figures to see alot of open holes in opposing defenses zones. Oh yea, the Browns also added future Hall of famer Antonio Gates to the equation. That and the edition of Ryan Grant who is a top 10 back in the league, and suddenly these Browns dont look to have a problem scoring. "When we had our meetings earlier in the year, we were 100% focused on rebuilding a young strong defense....how this offense got put together is beyond our imagination" The Browns also look to have one of the leagues best offensive lines, along with Pro Bowlers Joe Thomas and G Eric Steinbach the Browns went ahead and picked up Bears LT Chris Williams and will move him to RT forming what could potentially be the best OT duo for years to come. "Getting Chris Williams was huge for us....he is a solid LT with the chance to be a great RT, age and salary where a concern on the OL save Joe Thomas. Now we feel like we are in as good of shape as anyone in the trenches" -With Free Agency looming the Browns will look to add another back to platoon with Grant who had 11 TD's last season. Also could be looking for a veteran backup for young Sanchez. -Browns Season tickets sold out in the first 27 hours after the Calvin Johnson pickup. -The new regime has toyed with the idea of slightly changing the team uniforms, "the Browns have a great tradition....but that tradition equals 0 Super Bowl appearences....I doubt we would be cursing ourselves switching up the style a little bit" -New Browns player will have a meet and greet with fans March 24th at Clevland Stadium.
Those first two words are the keywords. Back injuries are scary, especially for guys carrying a lot of weight.
He will be training at the Cleveland clinic, where the staff infection he is sure to get will make him drop 15 to 20 pounds.
