Think Minnesota wins that trade if Cassel is indeed a franchise qb, which perhaps the jury is still out on that. Think Buffalo actually wins this trade. I'm not high on Lynch, but that's my opinion of course. Arizona... clearly wins this deal. They would have won if it was just for Cribbs, but to throw in three mid to late picks, and that fourth rounder is at the top of the round, well the balance was really tilted IMO. And no, I'm not high on Rolle at that salary.
I over paid for Rolle but honestly I needed a Saftey in the worst way....I had multiple picks in the 5th and 6th but really hated to part with my 4th. I too would give the edge to AZ, but Im here to win now. And I like the way these new Browns look.
Yeah, I'm not that high in my camp on the Rolle trade. It leaves a hole in what was a very steady secondary, although I do have a young stud in Rashad Johnson. Also, Rolle is short of 4 Mil, and is easily one of the better FS's in the league. Cribbs is nice, but is a situational player, and while the picks are nice, picks are always a gamble, more and more so as the draft goes on.
My first year was '04 at Finheaven... I think it was going on a year or two previously before me as well. The only reason why I remember it was '04 was because it was the year I joined Finheaven...
I respect your opinion, but how many 24 years old RB with more 1000 yards seasons than Ronnie Brown can be had for a low 3rd round pick ? Might I add that the bills O-line isnt exactly the top in the business
Agreed you beat buffalo up in this deal. Lynch has issues but he's better then any back you're likely to get at the end of round three.
This is my first year and i got to say it has been great for me---knowing what other teams needs are, is a great insight for me in how the Fins will deal with FA and the draft--If that makes sense!!
