Thats not a bad idea. It would give incentive towards better parenting. Of course the question is do the parents actually keep up what they learned after the get the tax benefits. Either way tho, its a decent idea.
I'm not calling your opinion ******ed. I'm calling the idea of looking at violence different because of the race of the people involved ******ed. If we treat the crime differently because of the race of those involved, then we might as well have a different set of laws for each race. <- ******ed.
If its the one I am thinking of, can't watch it here, I have watched it and I know he swings on her. I'm not saying he might not have deserved it, I am asking what makes one one act of violence acceptable to where you can laugh. I think ts because it is of a woman beating up a guy, and not only does she beat him up she hands him his ***. In today's society we are a macho one, it is unexpected and we laugh thinking how embarassing that dude just got his *** kicked by a girl. Then why is it irrelevant to what gets reported on the news and what doesn't, what gets laughed at and what doesn't.
Ah yes, some nice heads of crack down that way. Since I moved to Springs havent really seen any of that. Now when I lived in Lauderdale, diff story.
Yes, I find it funny because this guy tried to fight a woman (which is sad and pathetic, and he initiates the violence, doesnt walk away) and this woman completely destroyed him. So yea, I def find it funny that this woman thoroughly beat the crap out of this guy. Because if it was a white guy getting beat up by a white woman in the same scenario (insert whatever race you want), I would still laugh at it the same. And No for future reference, I would not find it funny to watch the guy beating a woman.
You mean YOU. To me what is "damn disturbing" is that you're just fine with domestic violence as long as it's in the ghetto.
Again you don't question what happened before the video. How do you know she doesn't beat this dude constantly? Of course you wouldn't find it funny, which proves my point. Its funny because it is a woman beating a man. It is hard to comprehend that women are just as violent as men, and can murder and kill, and be abusive. Which was the whole point of the argument violence is violence. It is not outlandish to say you find both videos to be reprehensible.
I'm not fine with domestic violence by any means. But watching that dude bite off waaay more than he can chew = good times. Now if the roles were reversed and it was a dude laying it down on a woman the humor would not be there. Nor would it be if it were six girls beating another. I guess I expressed myself a little too vaguely there.
If she beats this dude constantly then he's pathetic either way. Do you really think men and women are equal in terms of strength when it comes to a fight? I sure dont. And I really dont think anyone is suprised that women can murder, kill and be abusive. Come on, I think its fair to say we all know that. But for a man to take abuse from a woman or be beaten up by a woman whom hes trying to attack is pathetic either way. And no it's not funny because its a woman beating a man, its funny because its a woman beating a man who bit off more than he could chew, as the guy above me said.
That was in fact my point. Reading some of the other posts in response was revealing. One fact that gets overlooked in the video with the woman hitting the man is the lessons learned by those kids - violence is how you solve conflict
Well obviously she was stronger then him wasn't she. Yes genetically men are stronger then women, but not all men are violent and fight and not all men are stronger then all women. Again we assume.
You're assuming he isn't defending himself. Like I said how do you know she doesn't regularly kick his *** and this time he decided he was going to fight back? Cuz he's a big strong man and that would never happen?
Aright, I'm not gonna debate this anymore. I respect your opinions but this is going nowhere. I think the video is funny because the guy tries to attack her and she ends up kicking his ***. Theres nothing funny about the other video. End of story
He should of walked away and not hit her. It's pathetic. Watch the video and youd see he stays around to try and win the fight. Your making it sound like hes the victim for trying to win a fight with a woman. I'm not debating this anymore.
Im doing nothing of the sort. I'm questioning why people find it funny thats all. Sorry if that offends you.
Maybe if they stopped doing it all the time, it wouldnt be as "ahh another one? who cares?" Besides, minorities fighting on the internet.....in most cases i have seen is people fighting people who can in-turn fight back.....this has caused such an uproar cause this girl is just laying there taking it....over myspace? Gang fighting and all that jazz has been hapening sense the begining of time. Why does this have to be turned into a "non minority" and "minority" thing? Its just a human girl getting beat up by other humans....why is it always the skin color?!?
The next question would be who gets to decide which violent acts are acceptable (and funny) and which aren't. I'm sure that group of cheerleaders would argue that their acts were justified. Just like the woman beating on the man would argue the same.
I didnt see the other video, but im guessing from what i am reading a guy is whuppin some lady, then she fights back and owns his ***.....its not "haha" funny....i think it is more of "he got what he deserved" funny. if, like unlucky said.....he wasnt the victim in the case.
Well, we don't really know what happened before the camera was turned on. But it doesn't matter. Comments like "he probably got what he deserved" are just attempts to justify why it's okay to laugh at violent acts. In addition, the woman's kids are standing around watching the entire thing. Interestingly enough the kids seem kind of bored - it makes me think this wasn't something new to them. These kids think this is the normal way to behave. Would you want your kids going to school with other kids who believe violence is the norm? So, IMO both situations are tragic.
From what I heard 1 of the guys was already in jail for another offense so they tacked on time(how much, don't know) 2 others were convicted and sent away, and the other 2 were never caught. When I see a video like this one here,it brings back bad memories.I really don't care how young these teenagers are, they need to be sent a lesson. That one poor girl will be scared for life.Just a shame.
I saw this on the news this morning, absolutely ridiculous. first off, these kids are stupid. secondly, their parents are just as stupid. The parents of the victim... blamed the internet, and youtube and myspace. The parents of the attackers... the one said that she blamed the victim because she was "talking trash, and should have been able to back it up" like, great parenting you morons. so its okay for your kids to purposely tape themselves smacking around another girl??? unbelievable how ridiculous people are...
The original video isnt available anymore. Did it have sound? The one i seen didnt have any boys in it, is there more to the video that i didnt see, the one i watched was 3 minutes long exactly
Im sickened by this nonsense.......put these "tuff" girls in jail and let them try that hand on the hip BS talking, it would be a lesson learned.
