I'm willing to try and meet in the middle. But your offer is more than I'm willing to give up for Evans.
you didn't even try with freeney. Sanders I've about given up in trying to get equal value for but he's out there if you it someone else will. Otherwise ill hold him
I'm reluctant to comment on official trades anymore. In the interest of self preservation, I'll comment after the final voting.
I think that's why we can't agree on a trade for either. Yeah, they both are multiple PB'ers, but age and injuries are catching up with them and making them less valuable. It's like when you order a pizza. When you first open the box and it's still piping hot, those first couple slices are awesome. Three days later when you reach into the fridge for the last couple slices......they don't taste nearly as good. Sanders and Freeney are the last two slices from the fridge.
No one has more sacks then freeney for the last 6 years. His production is undeniable. No DE on PFF rates higher. If you complain about his salary, fine, I can handle that but to complain about injuries when he produces more then anyone else as a 4-3 DE? Thats just posturing.
Like I said, Ive given up with sanders because everyone wants him but no one wants to give anything for anything so hes now my free safety. With Freeney, its not even a debate.
I'm curious why you're still trying to move Sanders, even though it appears you're not going to get value for him. Just asking ...
well because about half the teams in this have asked about him. I won't move him though until some comes at least close to the asking price. One of those cases where everyone wants th player and no one wants to give you anything worthwhile for him. It also comes down to the fact that I enjoy a good trade. At 620,000 though I can keep him and just use him at FS.
That makes sense. Kind of like what I've done with Kellen Winslow ... who, BTW, is still available. I'll take Fitzgerald off your hands ...
Thanks for knocking some sense into me. I needed that. I should have know there is no hope of making a deal with Paul
I think the question is why is Fitzgerald in his hands in the first place. I wonder how Mrs Fitzgerald feels about this
