You're kidding me !!!! You were on the ****** KOP ?!!?!!? It was absolutely a stunning game. Easily the best I've seen this year because of the back and forth pace, and utter dominance of that midfield by Liverpool. I was a neutral party until Adebayor started prancing around after his goal. Stop yapping Manu, especially since Walcott engineered that goal, and he was on the receiving end of his brilliance. I was a scouser from then on. And how could I not be ? Total respect to Mascherano, who for all the love he's been getting from you and others, I had never really appreciated. He ATE Cesc Fabregas for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had Alexander Hleb for desert as well. Dirk Kuyt is an absolute horse out there. Nobody works harder despite the poor ball skills. What can you say about Fernando Torres ? He's just devastating with both feet. And that makes him such a threat, can turn on a dime, and always know where goal is. Although a blind man could see hefty Senderos wasn't apt to mark him. I wonder what Wenger sees in him. Was Flamini even playing yesterday ? What do you think of Skrtel ? First time I've seen him. He certainly looked the part yesterday. Was that the best game you've seen minus Istanbul ? How do you see the next round shaping up ?
They need to do something since their national team can't even qualify for tournaments Less than 2 months to Euro
Certainly not with the way they nonchalantly disposed of AS Roma. And especially not with the Reds current form. BTW: AC Milan has reached an outline agreement with Barca to sign Ronaldinho.
Thanks, didn't know. Heres the info: Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that FC Barcelona has agreed terms with AC Milan to send Brazilian star Ronaldinho to the San Siro for approximately $47 million. http://msn.foxsports.com/soccer/story/8023722/Report:-Ronaldinho-heading-for-Milan
I have to say, that was one of the most thrilling 15min. of 'football' I have ever seen. I have been watching the matches almost religiously the past week or so, and I don't plan on missing the next leg-Liverpool has played very spirited of late, and I hope they can keep it up against Man U. I am VERY happy that ESPN2 is broadcasting these matches over here . I got hooked on Champions Cup my first visit to the UK/Europe in 2000, and, no offense to the guys over here, but the MLS is nowhere NEAR as exciting or poetic. At least you guys have something good to keep you occupied in the off-season. Here's to the next leg!
God I can't stand that league lol, no offense to anyone. I wish ESPN would carry over the PL, that would make my day(s). Fudbal or soccer is the greatest sport in the world imo, my opinion is kind of biased but whatever lol. Soccer has a great atmosphere and even a 0-0 draw game is exciting. Side note: I am very dissapointed in Arsenal. I can't stand Liverpool! Lol.
