Early reports with the Draft advancing quickly, and it seems its ready to kick off tonight, the Cleveland Browns have flown in Jack English QB from Stanford, to Browns HQ it seems to start contract negotiations. English (rated 85 overall with cannon and accuracy to boot) is the consensus #1 QB and #1 overall talent in this years draft. Cleveland made some bold moves shipping off Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson prior to the draft as a significant step to improve the depth and talent not only @ QB, but up and down the lineup by acquiring 11 picks. After English, 10 critical components can be added to Jeff Otah, and Larry Johnson as new fresh bodies changing the vibe in Cleveland. The only snag to quick negotiations is Drew Rosenhaus was recently signed by English.....FML!
Rumor squashed.....English is not 49 yrs old.....that was a decoy to get the Seahawks to order a wheelchair to meet him planeside during his visit to Oz.....English got a good chuckle over that prank. *** update on negotiations....its seems like its all but done......terms are straight forward, once English signs the contract, he can spend one minute in the local branch of the Cleveland Savings and Loans Bank and collect as much $$$ as he can in that time. 1980 style cargo pants are not allowed. *** an anonymous tip stated that contract negotiations were made much easier as the QB coach and O-coordinator for Browns got up early and hearing of the Rosenhaus rumor, stocked the meeting rooms farthest corner with hair care products and a manicurist. Drew was said to make a beeline for the table with well over 50 bottles and left the negotiations to the lawyers.
Not for me, personally, but that's okay. I'm just gonna have to live with whatever my draft board gets me. I just wish there were a way to specify "Take this player but ONLY if it's already round 4!" As it is I need to throw all sorts of filler players in between to try to make that happen.
as someone mentioned above, i dont know why they dont do an unlimited draft... Let it go on for days and as people get a chance, they log in and make their pick.

You can always say here are my top 10 players. If they are gone take the best player available in QB, Rb, WR etc... and have a hierarchy of desire.
You can do it online or on your ps3. Honestly it is easier to set on your ps3. You can actually move players to a specific spot on your ps3. On the PC you can only put players on top. However it is easier to look at the players on the PC. So I would suggest logging into www.easports.com and going through each position and selecting the players you want to draft and then go to the ps3 to put them in the order you want them in.

Put mouse on FOOTBALL from horizontal menu bar... a window drops open, go to Online Franchise and click.
It's amazing how FEW trades are happening! lol. With the draft, hope springs eternal. AFTER the draft and a couple weeks into the season we'll see a rush on trades I think, as people's glaring weaknesses cost them some games.
People are overvaluing their draft picks. However if Madden teaches me anything, the computer will be releasing some good players because of their draft.
Should we release players to make room for picks now? I ask because I'm not sure if we draft then sign them or they automatically sign since we don't pay them
