So I'm new to this forum, just wanted to say hey but for real What are our real options for FA 2010 Karlos Dansby Antrel Rolle Vince Wilfork are all nice great ideal players, but the chances that all, let alone 1 coming here is very slim We have had a tendency of shelling out big dough to one or 2 FA and so far it hasnt paid off We probably will shell out once again for a big name FA and hopefully its one of these guys, although Antrel Rolle being paid big bucks is a bit of a concern for me, considering we do have 4 starting caliber safety's (Clemons has potential) with 2 large contracts to two SS, the chance we sign another one without releasing Gibril is unrealistic and if we do release him it will cost us ...any chance of possible trade?? But honestly what is the real list we are looking at for 2010 who are those hidden gems, our Randy Stark, Nate Garner, Cameron Wake or Nate Jones??
We will be able to cut some "dead weight" with the uncapped year so rest assured we will not have Wilson and Bell on this team next year.
its a bit complicated when we were drafting I was like, anyone but ginn, anyone but ginn and then we did and well he grew on me and I had hope and then after much backing him up... he just failed me way too much he is a good returner when he is disciplined but he has decent-shaky hands cant run anything besides a go and is basically only fast going forwards lets just trade him!
Talking of guys who are available, I read that the Chargers want to trade Antonio Cromartie for a running back. I know we are seemingly set at Corner but how about picking him up and moving Davis to Free Safety. Don't kill me! It's just a thought and I heard it kicked around once before early last year. I love Davis and am more than happy with his progress last year, but it might be interesting to see him turned lose like an Ed Reed or Troy Polamalu.
Ya know what, after looking at this some more, forget Cromartie. Been more of a one year wonder than anything.
yea he has, and remember the Chargers have 2 other Cb's that are pretty good If we were to make that trade though, he is more of a Sean Smith type CB, so I would move him to FS...and he was projected as that before last years draft anyway but idk, unless we draft CJ Spiller, I dont see it happening
