Maybe we should just start over and pick teams again. I'll go first. 1. Miami Dolphins 2. Seattle Seahawks 3. Cleveland Browns 4. San Francisco 49ers 5. Miami Dolphins
I will say this...some of you guys are putting ridiculous values on players that aren't even close to what u want for them. I have practically GAVE Lee Evans to more than one GM for either role players or same caliber players who absolutely would not be happy until they screwed me blind. It makes this not fun at all. And just so its fair I'll put out my offers: I offered Lee Evans for Kruger, Rolle, and Tom Z. I think i was even going to throw in hart or bajema.....Lee Evans for Sean Rogers....nope unless my first was included....huh? Bob Sanders wont be moved for anything less than a second. HE IS NOT WORTH A FIRST OR A SECOND.Unreasonable. Lee Evans and Chris Long for Reggie Nelson and Tra Thomas!!!??/ And still.....throw in a pick......what??? I mean...besides the obvious gms unvolved in these trades i want feedback. Am I asking too much?
Everyone over prices their players thats how it is nothing new. The key is to bring the price down as much as you can. I made the mistake not offering more for Henderson. I think he is worth but the Browns trumped me (**** *** ******)
you cant expect every deal to work. if you do, you will be pissed. sometimes different people put different values on different players. if trading were that easy, there would be more of them in real life. the trades that take place in this league are unrealistic, yet entertaining.
Yeah, and stop putting words in the pig's mouth. I can't believe I just refered to myself in the third person.
it seems it's become fashionable to out other gm's negotiation processes... one thing to have an auction...
IDK....guess I'm just frustrated. Like I said IMO I have basically been trying to give Lee to people and it isnt enough to just ask for a reasonable trade, IMO. I could be wrong..
Bob Sanders is a former defensive player of the year with a cheap contract and hes not worth a first or second? I have to disagree with that brother. Hes a true risk/reward situation and I understand both sides of the argument but im not going to undervalue my player just because you do. Different GM's will always have different values on players. thats just part of how the game works. And we never even discussed a Sanders for Evans swap so I dont know why that even came up. When I gave you Diem for a 5th you werent complaining then though his value is slightly more. Its funny how it works when youre on the other side of the fence.
Tra Thomas was great with the birds but couldn't crack the starting lineup with the Jags. He's junk. He should be giving you a pick to take Thomas off his hands. IMO.
c'mon buddy whats really bothering you? *enter Stewie voice* "does brian need a friend? Do ya Brian?"
your price for Sanders is outlandish Boik. Outlandish... trade me manning for a fourth and I'll let it slide...
