Whats the easiest/fastest way to earn gold?

 

You make 4 gold for e very person not working , so take everyone out of the mines. I did that and was making 550 gold an hour.

 

I've heard Maj pays well for certain "services"...you make money with citizens that are idle..or sell your goods is the only way I know.

the thing that has me 100% riveted right now is if Minwarp is going to get destroyed or not...and if we can get some paypacks if he does ..try and see if it says who attacked you warp.

do you have a tradepost ?? sometime if you use the "find bargain" neighbors are selling it...Im on a grape island myself and just now put a colony on a marble spot...it will be a bit before I can start really producing much.

 

ouch, it'll take 1D8H to trade with everyone going to the 13:14 area. Im not sure if I should make my next city so far away from my capital.

 

we should all put a tag by our city names, like (TPC) of course meaning thePhins.com, or something. Thoughts?

 

Yea, I have a trade post but it is only at level 2.

The only trade offers that I can see are the one's really close to my colony. I've been checking for the last two days, but unfortunately no marble has been available.

In order to see more offers I'll have to upgrade my trading post, but unfortunately I need 24 more pieces of marble to upgrade. Sort of a catch 22.

 

Same problem here, kind of a bad set up you ask me. I need to settle another island I guess.

 

This game is based that everyone around you plays often, trades to help grow, not sure how far I will make it from here running out of everything and no one trading.....

 

What are action points?

 

OK, how do I use trade ships. I seem to have built 3, but I cant find any way to select them, load them, or do anything with them really. When I look at my port, it says no ships are registered with the shipmaster. Do I need to build something else? Am I just missing something?

 

you gotta join the alliance first. Search for it when you click on the embassy. The name is ThePhins.

 

If you are trying to send goods to someone, click on their city, then click transport. There you will be able to select what to send them and you click send or whatever it is. Your ship will automatically load up and take off.

If you have a trading post you can find supplies you need and then buy a certain number of them for the price given, and your boat will automatically leave to pick them up.

 

how do you know when your ships have returned?

 

Actions are attacking a city, transporting goods, spying, etc. Action points show you how many you can currently do.

 

Your town advisor will tell you when they are back. Also you can click on the boat picture in the top left and there will be a mission end time. The time is located at the very top, above the town advisor.

 

You need to get far enough to build a trade post. Then, depending how many people are around you, you can get what you need at almost any time. You'll probably need to upgrade to a lvl 3 trading post for it to be effective. We can also help you out along the way, just let us know what you need and we can strike a deal.

 

Ah right, guess I need to figure out how to build one now hehe.
A question on expansion then-is it best to put more than one on your own island, or go right to another? And how far away should/can you go? There are some wine/marble islands with really low pops a few clicks away on the map, but should I be staying in my own area?
And what are the value of the resources? Are some more valuable or have more worth than others? Marble seems to be a big thing.

 

Different island. You want an island with a different resource on it.
