Sometimes when I insert a video link, nothing comes up at all in the final post, not even just the link itself. Is there a work-around?

Thanks. You would think I'd be able to see the link, though...maybe it's a setting in my browser. This is what I see:
Having spent the last 20 minutes searching these forums for the code, and finding only this one, how does one embed youtube videos? Is this correct? [FLASH WIDTH=425 HEIGHT=350]http://www.youtube.com/v/with ofcourse a video that hasn't disallowed embedding[/FLASH]
Yeah? Didn't see that convenient option, listed among the Googled how-tos. and would suggest our webmaster, is master of his domain. Thanks!
So if I want to put a youtube video just paste the URL and hit the submit button and it will be embedded into the post? Because when I hit the preview post button it just shows the link, not the video itself
Yes. It's not always going to show up in the preview. Just paste the URL below like this... Code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHZnBikgT18 ...and it'll show up when you submit. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHZnBikgT18"]YouTube- Fitness - The O Face Workout[/ame]
I embed on other forums and it is not working here. After getting my balls kicked in after posting an "epic fail" thread I'm looking for help.
test <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/o_FSicQWimU?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/o_FSicQWimU?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> FAIL http://www.youtube.com/v/o_FSicQWimU?fs=1&hl=en_US
Old info. You gotta use the button and then paste the video URL. [video=youtube;AoEEPoBwf7Y]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoEEPoBwf7Y[/video]
Not sure if this last update, is now outdated, but the image that once identified the specific "button" to use, is no longer appearing. It wouldn't by chance be the "insert video" key, would it?
Thanks! Having reached wits end, I eventually conceded to posting a basic link. As expected, the drop in interest was abrupt, the thread soon followed .
