The link to the story about the three way trade to get us Derek Anderson was interesting too. And I think Ginn is going to be pretty darn good by the time his career is over.
I was all about Anderson and knew we had interest. But who knew the lengths the people involved were going to? And it's interesting that the thing that ultimately spooked Phil Savage was not the prospect of losing Derek Anderson, but the prospect of him being ending up within the conference. Dallas not wanting the #1 pick isn't a surprise, but what they were willing to give up to get a single (overrated) player is quite shocking. Jason Ferguson probably goes for about the same price. This is a case where having the #1 pick hurts us again. If we'd have been #2 or #3, maybe Dallas is chomping at the bit instead of hesitating.
