I love Ronnie Brown. As a player, and a person, you cannot find better. He DESERVES to be a Phin this season.

If he can have one lucky season, with the OL living up to their paychecks in addition to Henne's expected improvement, he could be the best overall RB in the NFL. JMO.

annoying and discouraging is appropriate, i sometimes feel Iam one of the very few who appreciate the formation and want to continue with its developement..

I really think the fact that if it does not bust for 6 yards every time henne comes out of the game, the negativity about said play, becomes ridiculous..{why take henne out, your screwin up his timing, yada yada yada}..

A wildcat run, in our book, takes the place of a proset run....which specific run has the higher probability of success?, which style of run play does one trust if we had to pick up 4 yards?.

The fact that we started the damn formation, have had tremendous success with it, have the best player running it, and everyone is not on the ship with it?, is discouraging to me as a fan...

Add up every wildcat Play since the day of its inception, including the preseason, and you will see an off the hook yards per play thats basically run out of a power formation...Theres nothing not to like imo. you have to let the couple of bad plays roll off your back....

If I had a beer, I would cheers to the wildcat:up:...its our's, and I hope the negativity and naivity of some does not disrupt its evolution.

I agree....I do worry about his weight and conditioning this year though, with no ability to do the cardio and strength training needed to improve ones game, I dont have the same expectations as i did last year goin in..we'll see..

I don't see why he would have any trouble doing Cardio on a Bike, and no reason he cant strength train on machines.

As soon as we lost Ronnie Brown, we had lost 2 of the 3 runningbacks used in the formation and they turned it into a 1-RB formation.

The post-Brown/Cobbs incarnation lost the Jet Sweep, which keeps teams from simply overloading all the gaps, and lost Patrick Cobbs, who is a good enough receiver to keep the safety from dropping into the box, and a good enough blocker to be a mismatch vs. a corner.

Sheets has the talent to be the motion man. Ricky Williams talent? No, but enough for it to be effective.
