I mean, you left out like 98% of the post. I mean, saying someone is a dud can just mean not exciting. Drafting oline in the first often feels like a dud as compared to drafting your QB or flashy running back
Which pick has been a Fitzpatrick or Tunsil pick(that fell into our laps)? Really loved the Holland pick, besides that he did okay but not good/great imo. and this draft looks like a boom or bust draft to me at least the first 2 picks.
You can't just ignore success because a player "fell". Grier took the player. Lots of other teams did not. They all made choices. I think it's fair to say Grier isn't an elite drafter, but he's not bad, and the idea that he should be fired at this point is unwarranted.
This is the bottom line.U can bash Grier or u can praise Grier for the past picks.Bottomline is this. We don't win a playoff game this year its.time for him to go!!
Agreed a lot comes down to next season and as of now I think we took a step back from last season. Still money to spend and games to play but there is reason to criticize Grier and if we fail to win a playoff game or even make the playoffs, he definitely should be in question if not even fired.

Great draft! The 2 pass rushers are probably the most athletic edges in this draft! Crazy that Kamara fell that far. Not too worried about his height, when you see how explosive and strong he is at getting to the quarterback Armstead isn’t the answer long term. And you don’t want to be left with absolutely nothing and desperately throwing resources away to fill a gaping hole at Left tackle… that is an expensive position ! Paul reminds me of Austin Jackson’s profile. Should develop into a player. Wright is another breakaway big play back. But his pass protection is very advanced. And his Recieving skills will probably be the best in the RB room right away as a rookie. He isn’t just raw speed. Pretty well rounded back and Could have easily been the 1st back off the board. Malik Washington was setting production records last year in the ACC. Another YAC king with speed and broke the most tackles among wide outs. Not to mention his hands are elite. Tough as nails and never drops the ball are perfect traits for a slot. Didn’t think we would be getting a haul like this… Especially with a relatively low amount of draft capital !

I don’t agree with the writer however about the drafting of Wright. As much as I love Mostert, he’s getting up there and he’s not going to be around much longer. Hopefully he’ll be that back that can instantly step up and seamlessly take Moestert’s place when the time comes.
One intriguing UDFA signing is Matthew Jones, G/C from Ohio State. Started 24 of 26 games the past two seasons and was second team All-Big 10 last year.
I'm actually impressed with this draft. No, we didn't get an IOL, but we'll probably have two off the streets by Friday. You're correct. Unless the wheels fall off, that pick will be later in the round and there's a solid chance that we're going to have at least one compensatory pick in the third round, and possibly two. And that, to get a guy who was graded a late second rounder by a lot of folks. Each of the three "overreactions" was basically detailing things that can be fixed in the next month and if concerning, not overly worrisome at this point for me. This was a very solid draft for the picks that were available.
May need to wait for the June cuts to take effect, but reports were that we had approached a few IOL guys like Tomlinson about post draft signings. Would feel better with that. Wynn is the starting LG, Brewer the C. RG is a competition atm but I assume Eichenberg is the preference. As queasy as that may make some of us, he had maybe his best game at that slot, and he played OK for a.bit until he also got hurt down the stretch. I think the IOL focus will be more on depth than anything. We didn't struggle because our starters were bad, we struggled because the depth was bad. Probably we bring in a vet WR as well. While I like the two late round guys, not sure how much we want to rely on them so soon. The draft itself I don't love, but don't hate. I think it's a nod to the economics of the league more than an attempt to maximize this singular year. That's fine long term but I hope it doesn't bite us.
