What he meant was, he caught all the passes thrown to him. That is good play. No drops in 5 weeks is good play. He can't catch passes when he isn't getting thrown to. It's unbelievable how you are reaching to put Ginn down.

He's scared ****less out there.......I'm surprised he doesn't leave a trail of poo behind him after he makes a catch.

Ginn has caught everything that's gone his way the last five weeks. He's done well on returns. He hasn't made mistakes like Hartline's false start today. He hasn't fumbled away the ball. He hasn't run the wrong route leading to an interception. Yes, to me that is playing well. You can ask for more if you want, but he's making the best of his opportunities.

In order to say someone lowered their expectations one would have to know what they were to begin with. My expectations of him have been to get open and catch the ball when thrown his way. He has done that in the most recent weeks. He is playing good. Average. Well. He isn't playing great or poorly. He is playing like a solid contributor but nothing special.

When Hartline was getting the number of snaps earlier in the year that Ginn is getting now and putting up similar catch numbers, everyone said he was playing good (if not better than good).

It's like this every year. First Ronnie, The Beck, then Long, and now Ginn. We aren't apologists. We're just sick of hearing one player receiving all the blame.

And has since outperformed him greatly while looking like a "sackless wonder"

Great evidence, it was a very well put together argument on your part.

That last pick by Henne, did It look like Bess slipped? I don't know if it's me, but it looked like he slipped a little, giving Griffin a free pick.

He had a couple great returns and that's pretty much it.........but keep living in the past and trying to put the focus on what posters on a fan forum say, rather than his actual play.

I couldn't tell if he slipped or ran to the wrong spot. I asked if it was Henne's fault or Bess' on the pick.

If he didn't slip, he could have knocked the ball down. At least, that's what could have happened.

I don't want to put all the blame on Bess, but that pick could have been on him. Or on Ginn for Jetssuck. He should have flown to the ball, caught it, and flew into the endzone.

I was leaving that question for another thread.

I blame Henne for throwing the ball too high ending in some picks.

I blame Ricky for fumbling the ball

I blame Gibril Wilson for his usual pattern of letting receivers get behind him deep.

I blame the referees for not calling an even game where they don't call forward progress and blow the whistle on Ricky but they do on Johnson.

I do not blame Ginn for this loss he had very little to do with it either way. He contributed exactly what was asked of him as a receiver 2/2. I do think he went down soft on some returns, but that's hardly a surprise. If the defense had not given up the score he wouldn't be returning the kicks. If I really had my dream come true he would return one kick per game at the beginning of the game or 2nd half and that would be it.

Even if you remove those returns, which is ridiculous to do you can't just discount great plays, he's still averaging more yards than Cobbs was.

He blocking for returns has been absolutely terrible. What the hell is Ginn supposed to do when there's four or five guys from the other team right in his face at the 15 or 20 yard line? Or special teams sucks right now, but feel free to put the blame on Ginn, when he's got nowhere to go.

stats my ***. you guys and youm in particular have chnged the reasons for bashing ginn all year long. first it was he wasnt tough enough. then when he had his bad spell it was his hands and now its what exactly? that henne doesnt throw to him? thats his fault now? ginn has answered every bash and proved your criticisms to be baseless and so you invent new ones. now its stats. just admit it. unless ginn catches for 100 yds and 2 TDS while running back a KR for a TD every game, you and the few others who have a bug up their *** with him are going to bash him. It no longer has to do with how he plays. yopu have nothing to argue anynmoire other than he doesnt get thrown to enough. thats what your arguments have been lowered too. congratulations

Does anyone have it dvr'd? I'd like to know if it was Henne or Bess's fault on the INT. Regardless, I'm not a fan of the playcall, and not just because it didn't work. I didn't like going deep to Hartline on his big catch.

Oh and NOBODY on this thread said ANYTHING about Ginn costing us his game.

This thread asked a question....what will he do?

It was more of the same......not much.

Just more exaggeration and personal attacks by the apologists, that are left with nothing else to throw out there. Cuz Teddy boy DAMN SURE isn't doing anything to help you.

If it wasn't so sickening it would be comical...

I did have it recorded but deleted it out of anger because it sickened me. It just looked high to me. What I think looked like the Bess slip was him trying to adjust to the ball that was going higher / deeper than he was running.

That being said I can't say that Bess ran the route too shallow or not but I do think it was a bad call considering they just had to fight for that seven yards and a first down instead of taking unnecessary shots.

The people attacking Ginn after this loss are pathetic. Yeah....lets blame one player for the loss today even though it had nothing to do with his performance. Yeah, he didn't look that good on ST. But maybe if he had some blocks he might have done better. But lets all attack ONE player and put the loss on his shoulders. ITS ALL TED GINNS FAULT!!!!

    People make me sick.
