Sparano's creative offensive mind???? http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...anos-creative-offensive-mind/#comment-1682289
I just read this a few minutes ago! I couldn't even bring myself to even justify it with a response or a comment. Statement is laughable at best.
I read that post sometime yesterday while sipping on a cup of coffee. I was not able to respond because I spent most of the rest of the day cleaning up my monitor and keyboard, and throwing out some paperwork which was drenched.
I wonder if they are referring to his field goal obsession. That seemed to be pretty creative... I don't know many coaches that are more excited about FGs than TDs.
Are we talking about the same Sparano or did Rex hire Soprano? New York better be ready to incorporate the Fist Pump into their fan site.
Agree that it's a complete joke that Sparano is being called creative offensively. But I have to point something out. Some of you, even some of you in this very thread who are having a good laugh, less than 1 year ago defended Tony Sparano as passionately as some of you defend Jeff Ireland today. Shocking how quickly opinions change once these folks are no longer Miami Dolphins. Kind of proves there's a lack of objectivity.
I know. I don't want to single anyone out. But you get my point. We tend to defend Miami Dolphins whether they deserve it or not. Once they're gone, the kid gloves come off so to speak. I think it's good case study to apply Sparano as a reference point to Jeff Ireland.
As soon as he was hired I immediately figured he was just a Parcells puppet. And boy he proved me right!
I lost it for Sparano long ago but you're talking about two different animals here. He was never the OC here and the offenses he allowed were never anything special.
Ozzy walks into a depressed English pub after a Fins win and the bartender says, "sorry, we don't serve gay people".
If he was a Dolphin id still try and support him BUT he's NOT. I just hope Tebow don't make him look good now.
So I call Todd on the phone and tell him we will have to meet elsewhere because they do not serve his kind........
