I just need a blank 83 jersey from the pro shop, cause there's no telling who's name will be on it each year, but it does seem to be clutch for the Fins over the past few years.
The way Camarillo got the ball and ran had shades of Welker. He may be a @#()! Stanford guy, but he's all right.
I don't know if it was adrenaline or what, but with the hands that Camarillo showed, and the speed he put on that final catch . . . . he seems faster than Wes, and bigger . . . I mean it just goes to show u tho, anybody thinking we made a Critical mistake in trading Wes, needs to look and realize that he was a SLOT WR, with average return skills and average speed . . . and for what we got for him, we will take it. Its early on Camarillo tho, but guys like him are the reason I wouldn't mind seeing Cam another year, he has brought alot of young talent in . . . and he seems to be a people person . . . I guess we will see.
Welker has amazing return skills. He is pretty shifty and can change direction very well, his problem is he is soooo sloooow.
lol u cant be "amazing" in the return game but be slow at the same time. Also he pretty much SUCKED in the kickoff return game, he was gold in the punt return game . . . but like u said his speed sucks.
Gotta feel good for Camarillo, earlier in the year had a cruical holding penalty of a Ginn return for a TD that cost us a game, now he takes one to the house in OT, retribution baby.
Honestly with the way he played today, i'm wondering why he's not getting more playing time. Yes, you can make the arguments that he's not a premier receiver, thus did not get the attention that our starters got.... but still, the guy has great hands, obviously has speed... what's not to like? I hope we give this guy more reps with the first team.... he's got some talent
Camarillo should be back next season. I also saw nothing but good things from Hagan today. Ginn/Hagan/Camarillo/ and a rookie wideout in the draft? Sign me up.
