Best wishes for a Merry Christmas to all the folks here on "THEPHINS". I decry what so many have tried to make of the holiday from some kind of generic family holiday to those who would impose some kind of political glory to the event. I understand the Christmas event to be a celebration of God made flesh in Jesus Christ. That event calls upon all of us who believe this to be the greatest of all gifts of sacrificial love from God to live lives of witness and service on behalf of all creation.
