The Miami Dolphins announced today that the team has re-signed center/guard Jacques McClendon. To make room on the roster for McClendon, the team waived linebacker James-Michael Johnson.

McClendon joined the Dolphins after a two-year stint (2013-14) with the Jacksonville Jaguars following time on the practice squads of the Detroit Lions (2011), Pittsburgh Steelers (2012), Atlanta Falcons (2012), while also being on the active roster of the Indianapolis Colts in 2010. He originally was a fourth-round selection (129th overall) of the Colts in the 2010 NFL draft. In 2014, he saw action in 13 games with three starts for the Jaguars.
