Ok. Most MLB teams are at the 100 games played mark right now, and there is a pretty large field of possible contenders in both leagues right now.

As of now, what teams do you think will be playing in the NLCS and ALCS to get to the World Series?

    My picks:

NL: Pittsburgh Pirates (59-41) vs St Louis Cardinals (64-37)

This has been a dogfight for the NL Central Division since May. These two teams are clearly the best in the NL and one of them will be playing in the World Series this year. The NL Central is the toughest division in all of baseball and these two Heavyweights will be slugging it out until the very end. (LET'S GO BUCS!!!)

AL: Kansas City Royals (61-39) vs New York Yankees (57-43)

The Royals got to the WS last year and this team is even better. They are scary good, and I expect them to be representing the AL for the World Championship no matter who they play in the ALCS. The Yankees are really starting to gel now, and not a second too late. This is the most difficult choice for me to make out of all the four teams. There are a lot of teams that could get there (Angels, Blue Jays, & Astros would be my next choices in that order) but the Yankees are the more experienced team by far, and they have a pretty good roster.

Who do you think will be playing for the chance to win it all this year?

***Teams 1-7 are National League teams and 8-14 are American League teams***
