Looking at most teams minus fullbacks I see 7-8 RBs.

Anybody agree, we need to sign a couple of RBs?

Even if it's just for preseason work. Gillislee is coming back from injury.

Ajayi just a rookie, LaMichael James not much experience yet as a Phin.

Miller and Williams rounds off the rest of a thin RB core.

Be nice to have a Steven Jackson or Shonn Greene short yardage type for
1st downs and goaline type for TDs. I don't know the cost on those two
but I think the team needs to get somebody. How bout even bringing
Moreno back? What does that hurt?

I think that I read that Moreno has not fully recovered from his knee injury last season..not sure if he ever plays again..such a shame..I feel bad for him and us.

That's a shame about Moreno, I didn't hear about that.

5 RB's is enough, we are a passing team anyways

Gotta disagree with you, injuries are too much part of this game. Even a passing team
needs RB depth. At least get a power guy, for goal line and short yardage runs.

What's Lousaka Polite been up to these days? :shifty: I'm sure Patrick Cobb could still make the roster even at his advanced age.

well the starting spot is already settled and having 4 guys battling for 3 spots seems enough for me. the depth we have is very good though between the rookie, williams and james

I think we have 5 very talented backs...They deserve to showcase their talents so we make the right decisions. More reps for D. Williams and Gillislee should help.

Remember, Philbin obsesses about these things. I'd guess it's no coincidence...

Also, regarding having a fullback, they have mentioned Jeff Luc as a situational fullback along with linebacker duties...Luc has played some fullback and they like his value there as well. Whatever it takes for Luc to make the team is fine with me at first but he is a thumper at LB and runs sideline to sideline...gonna be a good one for us and being able to handle the rigors of two positions is a huge plus for us.

well low and behold the Dolphins have signed RB Demitruis Bronson. The strange thing is the Seahawks cut him in July because of an injury of some kind.

Must not be a major injury (I hope)
