Something I do every year for myself, and I like to share the data. So, if you're interested:

    Ryan Tannehill

    11252 Passing Yards
    - 3rd all time Dolphins. Will not catch Griese at #2 for years.
    - 161st all time NFL. Would move up to 135th-140th with season similar to 2014. (Dalton, Luck and Newton are all just ahead of him)

    63 passsing TDs
    - 4th all time Dolphins. 3 behind Fiedler.
    - 171st all time NFL. Like yards, 135th all time is within reach this season.

    84.0 Career passer rating.
    - 31st all time NFL. (15 ahead of him are active). With season similar to 2014 will likely move up list.

    21.4 completions per game
    - 7th all time NFL

    61.9 career completion percentage
    - 19th all time NFL. With season similar to 2014, will surely move up list.

    760 Rushing Yards
    - 33rd all time Dolphins
    - 4th all time Dolphins QBs. All three QBs ahead of him on list are also just ahead of him in Fins ranks. (Griese, 994, Fiedler, 834, Woodley, 771).
    - with 240 rushing yards, would be first Dolphins QB to 1000

    5.2 YPC
    - #1 Dolphins all time for any QB or RB with 150 or more rushing yards

    Lamar Miller

    2058 rushing yards
    - 14th all time Dolphins
    - 1005 yards short of 7th place

    11 rushing TD
    - 20th all time Dolphins
    - 10 short of 10th place

*and, as I've noted before, Miller is the same age now that Ronnie Brown was during his rookie season. He has plenty of time to move up the list.

    4.6 YPC
    - 3rd best all time Dolphins for any player over 1000 rushing yards

    70 receptions
    - 60th all time Dolphins overall
    - 20th all time Dolphins RB/FB
    - very well could move into top 15 RB & top 45 overall in 2015

    Jarvis Landry

    84 receptions
    - 52nd all time Dophins
    - With a similar season to 2014, would move into Dolphins top 30. Top 20 is plausible.

    954 Kick return yards
    - 19th all time Dolphins

    28.1 KO return average
    - #1 Miami all time for any player with 5 or more returns

    Rashad Jones

    10 INT
    - 27th all time Dolphins

    6.5 Sacks
    - 2nd all time Dolphins DB. (Bell has 11.5)

    Brent Grimes

    9 INT
    - T-28th all time Dolphins

    2 INT return TD
    - T-5th all time Dolphins
    - only Miami player with two INT TD in last decade

    Cameron Wake

    63 Sacks
    - 2nd all time Dolphins (and will likely remain there for a long time)
    - T-92nd all time NFL. With 10 sacks, would move up to 74th.

    12 Forced Fumbles
    - 5th all time Dolphins

    Oliver Vernon

    21.5 Sacks
    - T-13th all time Dolphins
    - 10.5 shy of 6th place

And 1912 APY, which afaik, puts him behind Ted Ginn's 2084 APY for the Dolphins all time single season leader in APY. Mercury Morris or Mark Clayton probably are #1 and #2 in APY for their careers

Actually, Morris didn't have all that many recieving yards, and his APY total of 6865 is well behind even just the receiving yardage totals of Duper, Clayton and Nat Moore.

    APY totals:

    Clayton 9276
    Duper 8859
    Moore 8950
    McDuffie 8353

Surprisingly (to me), since he was so fast, Duper was never used as a returner, and only had one rush of negative 10 yards.

This is cool to read. I look forward to seeing this a year later to see how different it will look.

Great post..looking at the numbers for Miller and OV, there is no reason for Miami to not find the money to keep 2 more of our home grown players that also played for the Canes..Also, keep in mind how young they both are and will only get better.

I agree. With Miller, look at him compared to a few other backs in the league. He's a year younger than Eddie Lacy, despite coming into the league a year earlier. Not to mention the wear and tear Lacy absorbed in college that Miller did not. He's also two years younger than Doug Martin, despite coming into the league the same season, and three years younger than DeMarco Murray, despite only coming into the league just one year later. There's not only a lot of tread left on Miller's tires, but I think room for development and growth as well. Balance that with the likelyhood that he'll be sharing carries with Ayaji, and there's no reason to think that he'll putter out during his next contract. I'd say he's the safest RB on the market after the season in the league, and we should look to lock him up before he gets free.

I think Tannehill could very well end the year with 11253 Passing Yards.

McDuffie makes sense, can recall him being the Returner for a number of yrs

To me, Landry is our sort of McDuffie, and would love to see the 6k rushing yard mark turned over, hard to believe with Rickey and Ronnie that number still stands
