or WILTING to be more accurate. Anyone else try to watch this rubbish?

Was disappointed in part 1 and ended up turning off part 2. How does this much acting talent turn out something this terrible? And Brendan Frazier as a half-breed Kiowa or Comanche Texas Ranger? GTFOH.

Historically inaccurate. Bad music score. Terrible writing and dialogue. Multi-story Texas sized sprawl of very bad GOT done Western/Alamo style and failing.

Santa Ana was a known elitist and racist. He considered himself an aristocrat and wished the Spanish had wiped out the indigenous mix-blood peoples of what was considered by him to be New Spain (Mexico and the Texas territories). Here he is pompous dandy, who spends his time copious downtime fighting chickens
and humping a former slave who first humped Sam Houston.

Paxton is ok I guess. He is a direct descendent of Sam Houston, who was as much of a badass as ole Andy Jackson himself, but that doesn't really come thru... Best acting in the show was by Jeffery Dean Morgan, who's character is supposed deaf, but yet answers one of the guys in part 1 who is on a horse behind him. /sighs

Couldn't wait for the 2 young rangers to get killed. Dafuq were they even featured? Hated both of their annoying stupid asses from the start.

    Agree with Rotten Tomatoes... sucks.
