Top Five Most Underrated Defenders

    Here's a list of the five most underrated defensive players in the draft, IMO. (I tried to stick with players not really seen discussed in these threads. So honorable mentions to: Tyeler Davison, Lorenzon Mauldin, Bobby McCain, Taiwan Jones, Kurtis Drummond, and Damian Swann, because I believe they are also going to well outplay their trade positions.)


    5. Donald Celiscar, S - High motor and uber capable.

    4. Darius Philon, DT - A knack for penetration. Just as disruptive as teammate Trey flowers:

    3. Alex Carter, CB - Solid all around, gets results.

    2. Martrell Spaight, LB - Energetic and influential, adept, very high ceiling.

    1. Za'Darius Smith, DE - Outplayed Bud Dupree many times, can pressure from inside or outside, strong against run. Might be the most underrated defender in the draft, Pro bowl potential.
