I really hope we surprise people and take advantage of the Suh signing. Wake only has so many games left in him at this level of play.

Never been a secret that DL pressure is what can cause Brady to become not-Brady. That's why the JT led defenses gave him so much trouble. Hopefully the Suh/Wake combo can convince him to retire. The other thing (which we have never had sans 1 year of Noodle Arm) is a QB who can take advantage of field position and put points on the board. We need Tanny to take another leap this year. If you think of Gladwell's practice theory, he may be approaching that kind of point where he jumps forward very noticeably.

    Well away from here
I know everyone and their mother expects a WRin round 1 but (me too as I think there are two positions in play) but I think a hybrid defensive end player could also be in the picture.

Mr T and the Hickster form a nice duo thus far...I really like the dynamic and allocated responsibilities for each..i dont want either to do each others job...perfect lil marriage.

I agree. Whether it's really a perfect lil marriage though we'll see after the draft, because Mr T and the Hickster don't seem to draft the same way (Tannenbaum will go BPA even at a position of strength and he doesn't prioritize high character guys the same way Philbin and Hickey do).

I think that Dion Jordan will serve that role, hopefully he's designated primarily as an OLB. I'm pretty happy with Shelby and Fede as the DE backups, I'd rather see the team use a mid round pick on a MLB like Ben Heeney or your guy Mike Hull.

I really think the understanding of skillsets is there..its not to say Mr T wont give his opinion but I really think Hick has final say on the personnell.

DJ, They form a perfect marriage because Hickey knows exactly who the boss is in their relationship and he understands that to keep his job beyond this coming season, he will do exactly what Tannebaum tells him to do.

Ross hired Tannebaum to turn this team into a winner and I think he is bringing in his type of players, whether Philbin or Hickey are on the same page or not.

yes so far so good, and it's been surprisingly REALLY good. I just wish pinhead was not coaching any longer, but it is, what it is.

I think your right, and trust that Ross approached this pairing mindful of the potential conflicts. I also suspect each respects and values what the other brings, Mr T well aware of what can happen without a buffering sensibility the Hickster may well provide.

I agree. With a draft as loafed as this one with pass rushers I expect a pass rusher de, blitzing olb or offensive lineman
