That's huge. It's kind of crazy how many good decisions this franchise seems to be making this offseason.

    This deal is ****ing awesome!

Locked up Yelich and Stanton on the same off-season. Marlins, I don't even recognize you!

Lauria has to be selling soon right? Lock up a bunch of young good talent andhave a soon to be renewed tv contract. He can pitch it as you have secured pieces in place to build a world series contender and you can negotiate for more tv money. Should net him bank in a sale. Also I wonder if this signing increases the odds of keeping jose as we now have more money to throw at him.

He's consistently said he's not interested in selling, but you never know.

Micky Arison was rumored to have been interested a few years ago. That would be something.

Weird right? I am so pumped for this year. Stanton homered for first time in spring yest. Oppo field.....seemed like he barely got it. Dude is crazy strong.

Pretty uneventful spring training considering there aren't any major spots up for grabs. Stanton seems fine too, he hit another dinger today.

Just need Jose to get healthy

Opening Day is here! Excited to see what this team can do. Expectations are always low for me with the Marlins, but who knows, maybe we make a playoff run this year?

Marlins doing the most Marlins thing imaginable. Rain delay in a stadium with a roof.

Who the hell came up with the decision to leave the roof open? It's hot and now it's raining. So dumb.

There was no rain in the forecast and it's a small cell almost directly over the stadium.

    It's nobody's fault.

You should want the roof open opening day, if it's supposed to be nice, which it was.

It's hot outside. I would have openeded it if the game started at 7. At 4? too hot.

And then they couldn't see the sky darkening and start closing it sooner?

Just saw the box score so far... uhhh.... just how bad did Latos look? Was he injured? 7 runs in less than an inning? Goodness.

He looked bad. Laying off real fat ducks down the middle of the plate for the Braves. Fastballs in the 89-90s with zero movement. It was batting practice. He wasn't fooling anyone.

Got tickets for the June 2nd game against the Cubs. I want that back to the future t-shirt they are giving away.

1-5 start and Alvarez is heading to the DL. Not an ideal start to the season....

They have been exceeding expectations especially without Henderson and jose.. Once theyre back our starting rotation will be legit... Move Tom Koehler to the bullpen..

Even when our offense shows up our pitchers **** the bed. We need Jose back and we need Henderson healthy.

We suck and the only chance of a win is when Jose is pitching, fully expect to lose tomorrow with Phelps.

Latos and Haren will likely be traded.

Stopped supporting the Marlins like 5 years ago. I do not even follow MLB anymore.
