With these off season moves the Fins are inching closer to being able to go BPA in the draft, within reason of course. Nice pickups so far at DT, WR and CB with Suh/Stills/McCain- I'm still intrigued by the possibility of drafting a guy like Eddie Goldman at DT to pair up with Suh and getting an active MLB like Ben Heeney (or Stephine Anthony in the 4th if we're very lucky) in the middle rounds. We have good backup DE's in Shelby and Fede, I was for Misi at MLB but if he goes back to OLB I'm fine with that, which leaves Dion Jordan, who I sincerely hope they allow to drop the extra weight and go to OLB. SS Landon Collins is starting to look like more and more of a 1st rd option, but I wouldn't mind Melvin Gordon in the 1st and Devin Smith in the 2nd to round out the WR corps, maybe Jaelen Strong for that bigger outside presence.

My 1st rd thoughts keep going back to Goldman, which surprises me. Look at :55 of the 1st clip, the pressure that he gets up the middle and the speed that he has at 335 lbs or so to get after the QB- imagine him and Suh stuffing the middle and pressuring Brady from inside, and what Wake & Vernon could do from the outside, maybe even more so the damage that a blitzing OLB Dion Jordan could do with a straight shot form the outside chasing down a flushed out and scrambling wide Brady. His strengths are straight line pursuit and coverage, rush him and put him in the flat or in coverage on Gronk. We could give the Pats fits, not to mention the other teams. That would be actually using Jordan to play to his strengths, and it looks as if the team is making better/more logical decision under Tannenbaum. Goldman is a beast, and actually

    1. Eddie Goldman
    2. Devin Smith
    4. Stephone Anthony or Ben Heeney
    5. Shaq Mason or Jamil Douglas
    6. Lynden Trail
    7. Tayo Fabuluje

would be just fine with me.
