Letting Clay go to buffalo is not a sensible thing for us to do if we can help it. Starks got old in the second half of the season, so he'll probably be cut to save cap space. Revis is going to cost a fortune and we don't have the cap room.
Clay is not worth 7 million, and If Buffalo signs him to 8 million, it would be downright stupid to outbid that. He's not Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski, hell I'd take Gates at his old age over Clay. I'd take Tony Gonzales over Clay.
Revis is a Jet 70 million dollars richer. I'm sorry but that is over paid he doesn't own a Island any more but he can buy one.
It's more like a three year deal for 39 mil. After that he can be cut with no cap hit. He's still the best CB in the league and he fills a giant hole on the Jets.
