I don't want Suh, even at 5 mil a season. He's a time bomb with serious anger issues. And for that money, we can sign multiple good players. No thank you.

    Well away from here
Now that we officially have not shot at Suh we can move on to finding a cheaper replacement for Randy Starks and or Odrick.

Get it done, Wake, Suh, Earl Mitchell/Eddie Goldman or Carl Davis, Vernon.

he would definitely bring a toughness to the defense and would make a huge impact but man 100 million dollars with all the needs this team has.

Go bring him in. He's the best player at his position, probably top 10 on any defensive position. He's in his prime. He's no injury history. He's a fighter. Go. Get. Him. Now.

This move would be a defining moment for us. Itd give our defense attitude, the team some identity, and huge building peice for years to come on defense.

    So it won't happen

That would be a very bad deal. JJ Watt is paid $100 million, and it was too much. There is no way Suh is worth that. $80 million maybe ... $100 million no way!

I think they call that train riding in some states. It is also known as the bandwagon inmany others. How about you become a fan of all of the teams say 32nd team and save yourself some heartache?

I don't know why anyone thinks this, we landed Albert and Wallace. We have been out front on some big free agents and landed them when we went after them. The only thing that worries me is that 6 year 100 mill number, yikes I wouldn't think of doing that.

The trouble is - there are cameras, there are flags, there are calls from the NFL office, and there are suspensions. Suh is a dynamic threat to the other team - and his own! THAT is the problem with signing a 16"-50 caliber MK 7 LOOSE naval gun to play defense!

Not always but a lot of the time. Wallace was our last big FA signing and how has that worked out for us, bad contract and all? In fact, almost all of our recent big FA signings have blown up in our face(Ellerbe, Wheeler, Albert and Moreno due to injury).

Albert was our last big FA signing actually.

And no, we aren't used a lot of the time. I'm not debating the merits or success of these signings. I take exception to the narrative that we always get used when we don't.

    But we have.

I don't think it's realistic to think we can/should sign him. There's a lot of holes on this team that can't be filled in one offseason and we would be having a tougher time trying to fill them if we got Suh.
