Imagine the Patriots with Percy Harvin and DGB: http://www.drafttek.com/2015-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round1.asp
You never know, but I don't think that DGB is the next Aaron Hernandez, cloudy past but from what I've read he's a better kid, not a thug of Hernandez proportions, and his brother has really turned him around of late. New improved behavior could be for show with the draft/payday approaching. Nonetheless, I could see the Pats going for a grand slam with this kid.
I could see the Patriots taking Dorial Green-Beckham, for sure. They'll want to make sure he's smart enough for their system though.
It's funny there hasn't been a comment yet in here about the Dolphins taking Maxx Williams at 14. Probably because any of us who saw it immediately dismissed the idea as never going to happen in a million years.
I was gonna make an initial comment, but your assessment is accurate. I like Maxx, but at 14? Hyell no, too many other good players and bigger needs. Also, I'm a much bigger fan of Arthur Lynch than you are, and I factor in his return next year as a plus.
I wouldn't say Hernandez. DGB's history is very close to Lawrence Phillips though, including all the people claiming he's a good kid.
If we lose Clay I could see us making TE an early draft pick but I don't see this happening. We will see how DGB fairs in the draft after the year the NFL had. I wouldn't even consider him in the first round, the red flags he has are very glaring, honestly he sounds a lot like Phillips, hopefully he goes to the right team and it all works out.
